The cool reason to reinforce osmon as a new supernode is to allow a new hub birth 10 years into a stabilized sandbox.

Why would you want to nerf gank squads like this for no good reason?

We dont, we'd quite like to be able to traverse the systems in less time than it takes for a small plant to grow.

Judging from the NPC kills around Aeschee (2 Lvl4 SoE agents), there is still plenty of room for players to do missions.

I'm going to go on the assumption that you are not as dumb as you're acting and you're simply after an argument. You just pointed out the flaw in your own statement. Players won't be forced to run the missions for the low sec agents. Fact - nothing you can do to change that. They will run the high sec Osmon one. Fact - again, nothing you can do about it. CCP WILL have to do something about it. Either add another level 4 security agent in high sec or reinforce the node. Did I make the only possible scenario simple enough for you?

It also wouldn't be the first time agents were moved/created due to system load.

Fortunately nowadays CCP has the capacity to move a few key systems to reinforced nodes after downtime. They can also start by moving non-relevant systems off the one it's currently running on to improve performance with minimal disruption.

Why would that be needed? The 3 available L4 agents can provide an infinite amount of missions already, there is absolutely no need to have more.

This just in, servers can now handle an infinite number of players in all systems with L4 Sisters agents at one time running infinite number missions.

I see your confusion. You see, agents can send you several jumps away from the issuing system. So just the Osmon agent can send people out across 15+ systems and support a few thousand people at a time. As long as the core system in reinforced to handle the traffic and those other systems are redistributed to various nodes.

^^ This, and it should have been done beforehand. Not the first time we've seen a system become "popular" for one form of farming or another -- it's the sort of thing SENIOR devs should anticipate in their sleep. Blink

Pretty sure nodes are hot-swappable, karan went from 90% TiDi to 10% while staging for the battle @6VDT.

From that point until after bridgine jita was said to have very heavy TiDi.

Tell me again about how every playstyle you dont engage in "doesn't require any effort" and everyone who does it needs to die in a fire. Be sure to mention about how you tried it once but it was too easy/boring/ethnic-homophobic slur.

A better option would be to move the Osmon SOE L4 Security agent to Old Man Star.

Note the emphasis on SOE ships: T1 hulls that can fit covops cloaks, obviously intended for operation in hazardous regions.

Have to disconnect everyone in system to move it to a different node and there are multiple systems on each node with exception of the three super nodes on the same "super box" as Jita. To move it without breaking client connections they would first need to TiDi down to 0% and actually pause the game in the moving system.

simple answer is simple. move that one lvl 4 agent to low sec to be with the other lvl 4 SoE agents.

Still the only elegant answer is to just let it happen and reinforce the node. A new trade hub emerging "accidentally" is a part of history and makes the sandbox interesting.

It will last a few months and then become another motsu.

If people dont want the crowds then go to low sec.
