After watching the Rubicon announcement today, as the most relevant member of CSM1, I'd just like to extend a warm and hearty thanks to CCP for implementing such ideas we brought to the table such as:

https://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Colonies_(CSM) - Jade's "Raiding mechanic" now known as "Siphoning"

as well as numerous other desires including but not limited to Mercenaries, SOE Ships, adding aliances to factional warfare, and certainly not least continued devotion to 0.0 culminating in an excellent rental mechanic for income

Indeed when I look back at the accomplishments of CSM1 it occurs to me that one can hardly log into New Eden these days without seeing the fingerprints of our handiwork.

Why did we tire endlessly on these tasks you may ask? Because the pilots of New Eden are the most level-headed, rational and caring individuals we've ever had the good grace to rub virtual shoulders with. Never exhibiting a word spoken in anger I applaud the pilots of New Eden for moving beyond such incidents as the T20 scandal, burying it in the annals of space history where such things belong and certainly not raising its spector at every single opportunity or invented slight.

In a world filled with infantile behavior and conspiracy theories I have long marveled at EVE's wonderful sense of comraderie and the player's unflinching support of CCP's delivery of our requests. I salute you EVE Online, CCP and this fine forum and on behalf of the First Council of Stellar Management I extend to you a hearty "You're Welcome". Every single one of the 1871 days since the deployable structure idea was first requested has been a blessing in and of itself among these noble pod pilots.

You have no need to thank me. Your continued happiness and positivity is all the gift we require. I dedicate this thread to you. Bless you all and may the solar winds be forever at your backs.

At first I thought this was an amusing mockery of how new expansions are implementing so little extra compared to old (CSM1) then I took a closer look and had to facepalm that most of the current "updates" are not only limited in quantity, but **** that was proposed ages ago at the start of EVE nearly. Can someone please make a list of additions each expansion added and split them up between things like "UI" "Game mechanics" "Graphical" etc so we can see the ACTUAL work put into each expansion? I'd say the last few expansions have been among the smallest and it seems like there is a trend towards balancing rather than working on those features that are supposedly part of their three year plan........ Overall it feels as if CCP is either slacking, is heavily mismanaged, is suffering from serious defections (employees leaving), or some combination of all the above. EVE is a great game as is, but expansions are still a big part of it's life blood, and if they loose their potency, I'm afraid I will dip back into inactivity due to stagnation of the game. Although not everyone may do the same, I can't see such stagnation being a good thing.

In the (after T20 scandal) beginning, the CSM was created. This made a lot of people very angry, and has been widely regarded as a bad idea.

Just as a matter of courtesy should you come across Jade Constantine, in any form they may be choosing to take, during your travels you should be certain to thank them for their contribution to the key features of this expansion. This expansion could almost be called EVE Online: Jade's Universe.

The only personal harassment out of game from anyone I happen to be aware of was all from members of BoB and some of it was based towards me. If someone did something that made Jade upset I don't know the story.

Impersonating a member of Goonswarm is against the TOS and apparently always has been so clearly this couldnt have been the case.

I'm trying to recall the context but I believe either myself or someone else posted that on these very forums satirically at one point.

a public mirror of an old goonwarm wiki had a photograph of jade and a libellous description. i think that's the story?

I'll vote for you if you can incorporate polar bears into eve. Prefferably in such a way that they maul capsuleers in high sec ice belts.

Perhaps an internet lawyer can help me out... can a private posting on a private forum be libelous? In addition I'm pretty sure that fell within the realm of sattire, but I know that overseas you guys treat libel significantly differently than us right-minded Americans.

We did have a really cool vote on replacing the titan graphics with monster trucks and allowing people to play musical instruments in walking in stations, which was argued against primarily with the voiced fear that "goons will run around playing nazi songs all day".

Up until that point I didn't even know there was such a thing as a Nazi song.
