Please show proof! I can't believe CCP has gone that far down

Do not assume anything above this line was typed by me. Nerf the Truth, it's inconvenient.

Already cancelled my sub. Its off on the 18th of October. This is why I pay a little bit more but refuse to commit long term and pay monthly. Im tired of the indignant attitude I receive as a paying customer.

Wow. Just wow. This is dismaying. Giving me flashbacks to days I thought were happily long gone.

So, Kil2 used to be sponsored by Somerblink, and now works for CCP. But I am sure this is of no relevance.

Typical responses from foaming-at-the-mouth idiots who read something they can't get their head around. All I see here is a popular site being utilized to help bring new content into the game whilst also providing a plughole for accumulated ISK that would otherwise just be converted and stockpiled into heaps of PLEX. If players didn't want to gamble on Blink, they wouldn't gamble on Blink. Oh and FYI unsub threats are laughable and make you look like a scrub. Counting down to your sub expiry date makes you look like North Korea.

A popular site run by players. It's not official, it's not even a company. There utterly no evidence it's legit and there's plenty of room for them to be engaging in RMT behind the scenes. Look back at all of the previous popular sites and in game corps that milked isk from the community for RMT empires eventually resulting in exposure and collapse. Blink simply haven't been exposed yet.

CCP supporting them directly shows that CCP officially supports them, boosting their ability to scam people out of even more. CCP are obviously covering their own asses with a post saying "oh we can't guarantee you can trust them, but we do!". If CCP want to give stuff away, great, but they should roll the dice themselves. Not boost a potential RMT empire with official endorsement.

Well we could always start some kind of in game rebellion against this Somer-Blink issue.

Not got any methods in mind right now, but something simple and effective we can all (not) do (if we choose). Idk, completely abandon 1/3 of the game map for the weekend or something. Either by moving out of that part (say for example, moving out of lowsec completely) or by refusing to trade to and from that area for 48-72 hours. Or simply shooting up asteroid field each time the servers restart?

Any other suggestions?

Sure, Somer Blink's a for-profit organization. But they give back to the community with various charity things. For example, I asked them to donate 2bil for a fiction contest, and they gave me 10bil. No conditions, they didn't even ask me to mention them as a donor. I can see CCP giving some prizes to an organization that gives back to the community.

(By the way, EVE Online Hold'Em donated 10bil too. Another contributor to the community).

Wait, isnt Somer Blink CCPs idea to take ISK from the community and trash it so we would get less inflation?

And here I was expecting a discussion about how CCP created a game that rewards evil behavior.

Carry on.

I don't believe in signatures.
