Most of you who are playing for more than a year do not even pay real cash to play Eve. You think this is cool and it is right - It is not cool nor right, you are undermining CCP, the very company struggling finacially, the company who run this game.

Is it so hard to understand that those PLEXes where paid in real cash by someone? In fact, PLEX are better for CCP than subs:

  1. They are more expensive ($35 for 2 months instead of $30).
  2. During their life from purchase to being redeemed, they are free financing for CCP. They get the money before they would via subscription.

You want CCP to "fix" plex prices ... honestly if 100m isk extra per month is TOO much for you, then you may need to stop giving away your minerals.

Players PRICE and SELL plex ...
Always ... Never ... Forget to check your references.   Peace out Zulu! Hope you land well!

Is it so hard to understand that the players with plenty of ISK are subbing additional accounts, which generate even more ISK, and these players are not paying CCP a dime to play ?

I am saying - Stop allowing ingame PLEX to be used to pay for Subs. Those extra, "free" accounts just generate more ISK, way more than the incoming real money spent to buy PLEX. There's your equations Sirs, think it through.

You sub (x) accounts by using ingame ISK to by ingame PLEX.
Those (x) account generate even more ISK
There's your ISK flood, blame that, stop trying to allocate blame on mission runners/incursions etc.
The fact is that ISK should not be able to buy ingame PLEX.
Will that upset people Hell yes it will.
Will accounts "unsubscribe" Hell yes they will - Unpaying accounts.

Stop the ISK faucet ? Easy, disallow the subbing of accounts using ingame PLEX. This will force those who want to play, to pay. All those thousands of free accounts that are ingame generating trillions of ISK can go away over time, because they are just using easily-earned ISK to buy ingame PLEX.

PLEX prices should be 10x their current amount in ISK - discourage all those free accounts churning out more ISK.

Firstly, mission runners do add to the amount of isk in the game, because a good missoner rarely loses a ship and therefore does not have a great deal to spend it on.

Secondly, PLEXed accounts are not free accounts the PLEX has already been paid for.

Some ways to solve your problem is to allow the NeX so you can use isk up on useless items.

Have more wars, I'm sure PvPers would like this one. The problem with wars though is they tend to pick on the weaker ones with have less isk anyway.

Make missions harder as they're too easy most of the time.

But someone IS paying. Every active account is worth at least $15/month to CCP. Whether that money came from the player's credit card, or a PLEX purchase by someone in a different country, it makes no difference.

So what you're saying is “remove PLEX (and GTCs)”…

…or did you mean “activate” when you wrote “subbing”?

OMG!

First:

The prices of PLEX are not rising because of inflation, but because the demand is higher then the supply.

Second:

When a player uses a PLEX to add game time to his account - he does nothing different then when he would pay by subscription. Because a PLEX is already paid for game time.
The ISK that changes hand in a sell-PLEX-transaction is already in the system - so no harm done.

If you would say that more accounts create more ISK: That is only true for botting (and that's baaaad hmmkay) and some industrial ventures.

And you could change ISK for game time even long before the introduction of PLEX: It's called game time card - and can be bought with ISK here on the forums.

Industry is not an isk faucet, you just get isk from other players. The #1 faucet in eve by far is rat bounties.

Perhaps Incursions have eclipsed rat bounties at this point...though technically rats their payouts are freaking ridiculous.

I've never done an incursion, but I thought most of the profit was in LP? And to spend LP you usually have to spend ISK too.

That is true. - so just botting - or maybe ratting or missioning or plexing in a multibox setup. But that scales not so well IMHO.

There is a lot of LP, to be sure. But Vanguard sites for example pay each pilot 10.5 million ISK. A decent fleet can clear 5-6 an hour. A dream team of officer fit epeen warriors have been clocked clearing 8-9 an hour. The two groups BTL and Datanian agree to farm these sites without taking down the mothership until the sansh are withdrawing....maximizing rewards. The only slow down comes during highly contested areas during Euro and American prime times.

You fail at math. I draw a picture: SOMEBODY pays for their accounts. As long as each account is paid for with money, thats all CCP wants.
Thats the whole point of the plex system. The person who buys plex with money and sells it for isk, is the one who pays for the buyers gametime.

.. I hope I wasnt trolled.
