This has probably been suggested before but I think it would be cool if there were a stargate somewhere near JITA which, when activated, would send you to a random system anywhere in LoSec or NullSec.

Every ship that used it would go somewhere different so it would be useless for fleets.

It was also be useless for logistics as you wouldn't know where you were going to end up.

However it would be awesome for the Solo PVP'er who wants to live in JITA and get straight into it at a moments notice.

It would be cool to fit up a T1 cruiser and take the Super Highway and then just burn around to see what you find, different region, different opponents every time.

It would be a bit like a PVP Arena but with none of the negative connotations as all the combat would be taking place in normal space.

I believe it would help encourage more Solo PVP and it would be cool to sit near it and watch what kind of players went through, and maybe hear their stories when they came back.

Probably quite easy to program too.

Anyone using this will promptly be murdered in the face by whoever lives/hunts in the "random" system you get sent to.

Tell me again about how every playstyle you dont engage in "doesn't require any effort" and everyone who does it needs to die in a fire. Be sure to mention about how you tried it once but it was too easy/boring/ethnic-homophobic slur.

The stargate you are looking for is called a wormhole...

Dumbing down of Eve Online will result in it's destruction...

That's kind of the point, you use it when looking for a fight.

Moreover they won't be expecting you, you may land in the middle of a mining op, or a huge battle.

Because getting your AFK cloakie in is too much of an effort apparently.

Solo PVP tends to end in 100km long conga lines of ships trying to kill you. Why would you want to get a superhighway to THAT?

You are aware that you can buy things in places that aren't Jita, right?

Also, that you can buy things in Jita and have them hauled to your PVP staging point of choice.

I think it's a cool concept. It would need some sort of lore behind it though. Maybe it could be a wormhole where 1 end is stable and always in the same place, but the other end is so unstable that it drops everyone in different solar systems.

Hisec should not be excluded from the destination systems though. I want there to be tearful cries of "all I want is to pvp, but this damn thing keeps dropping me in Concord infested waters!" lol

You want a way to randomly pop up in lowsec and null sec systems without going gate to gate?

So.... Wormholes?

Or people with c2->lowsec/c2 wormholes.

EvE-Mail me if you need anything.

The issue with wormholes is you have to get a scanning ship and fly around and scan down the holes and find one which goes to he right place, then go back, get your PVP ship, go back to the wormhole and jump through it.

Which is a lot of hassle, the idea behind the Super Highway is it's really easy just to jump into a fight, if you are new or don't know what you're doing you can just fit up a frigate and try it out.

Morevoer wormholes are two way, meaning you can come back, I think the Super Highway should be one way, meaning if you chose to go you either slow burn back or die.

Gives it much more of a sense of adventure.

PVPers, solo or not, do not live in Jita.

What?

Wormholes already exist in the game with the code to randomly choose a destination.

All you have to do is create one which chooses a destination when you go through it and only has one end.

It's not INCARNA.

Anyone who says something should be easy to code is not probably not qualified to make such an assessment. As for the actual topic, just use a wormhole.
