So, you're telling me a falcon had you perma-jammed for minutes upon minutes on end? Yeah, bull. The failure rate on ecm modules in the current patch is just too high for that. My guess is that you got jammed once and then forgot to re-lock.

So (from your original post) a lone frigate completely capped out a cruiser... for the duration of an entire fight. If I need to explain the mechanics of why this doesn't make sense....yeah....you're bad and should feel bad.

I don't even know what to make of this one. They used web drones I guess? Even though they are absolutely horrendously weak due to stacking penalties? This one just doesn't make sense.

So...ok. Your ignorance of basic mechanics shines like a beacon through every one of your posts. I took a look at your killboard stats. 5 lifetime kills (0.23 bil) / 36 lifetime losses (8.53 bil) and you get podded after every single fight. In lowsec.

Almost all of your losses are in two systems, Oijanen and Maila, in Caldari lowsec to the same four people over and over and over again. None of your losses from 8/22/13 to 9/19/13 have an ECM boat on them. You've never encountered proper ECM in your life.

And while battleclinic is pretty ****** and unreliable, in a game of a little over 500,000 subscribers, you are ranked 547,238. I don't know how else to say this... you are one of the worst pvpers in this game. Most cyno alts have better records than you.

My single piece of advice to you is to stop everything you are doing in regards to pvp, hop into t1 fit frigates (buy a hundred, maybe in your case a thousand), and fight and loose every single one of them until you understand why each of your posts in this thread are bad. This is the most I can do to help you.

I see you either did not read my posings or you simply failed to comprehend what this thread ("of general interest to all") is all about. The contents of this thread in time may benefit all (at least, that is my goal).

(And besides the core issue here (the thread) I do not realy understand your personnal attack on me since there is absolutely no basis for doing so. So, cheer up, and please view all in an objective way. I saw your file, you are indeed an excellent pilot(!) possession very many skills and almost never losing a fight. Well, I had hoped to become just as excellent as you are in the years to come, but, well, I am a casual player and a relative new player to the game.

Send me and e-mail when you reach #47.607 on the killboards, since that would call for a celebration! I then will transfer isk 600 million to your account (you have my word on that and you have many witnesses hahaha), meant to be as a sincere incentive for your further evolving legendary status on the killboards, and at the same time enabling you to also lose some ships for fun in experimental solo fightings in low sec. ,as I prefer doing from time to time)

Thx for yr kind and constructive postings.

Look, the battleclinic ratings mean very little in the grand scheme of things. My one single point in all of this is to convince you that your fundamental problem in eve is not ECM or even Ewar in general. You obviously don't understand some of the very fundamentals of pvp. You try, clearly as evident by your record, and that is a right far piece better than most hisec missioners/miners.

If you build a house on a rotten foundation, it will not stand.
Your posts and your record reveal that you don't get some of the basics in pvp. There's no shame in this, but ignoring it and blaming your failures on ecm will do you no good. Your killboard stats, what exists of them, shows that you have never fought against a proper ECM boat. In that context, how can I take your criticism of the current ECM system seriously? If my post was overly harsh, I apologize.

Please, review the basics of combat. Review how you handle engagements. Join an active pvp corp. A corp like RvB might be an excellent place to learn the fundamentals of pvp. I'm trying to be constructive here. There are better recourses to loss then starting threads like these. There are communities in game that can help you...I linked one, and there are others.

Thx for yr kind message. Seems you are actually mixing up PvP with my solo fights against gangs 1 vs 3 or more. I even purposely went after the gangs for fights since PvP at Jita, well, one has to wait very long for one to accept a PvP. So, I almost did none PvP (even won 1x fight against a player placed # 505 on the killboards, check it out). Actually, though I lost the fights against the gangs (what else, I dont bother loosing ships) I liked the entertainment provided by them till the moment came more and more players beginning to cripple a ship down at the start by ECM. See my last loss: Cyclone first cripped down from afar...and then taken out by some strategic cruisers. Well, talked enough about that in the above.

Actualy, I had hoped you would INVITE ME to, say 5x fights in high-sec...PvP 1vs 1...(for you a good opportunity to prove all you said in 1vs1 PvP with me, so to speak, "actions speak louder than just words") i would much like that in the next 7 days to happen. You have nothing to loose as a skilled player and for me it is the entertainment that counts. So, what do you say? I await your private message/invitations for PvP in EVE.

As to modifiers reading in copy: you may lock this thread now, since points were placed re ECM and now it is up to CCP to check the contents on its merits, in time.
