Black Screen after Logging off of Eve

Hi,

When I attempt to close Eve when I'm finished playing I either get a black screen and my mouse showing OR a frozen view of the window that allows you to quit Eve. In order to return my computer to normal such that I can see my desktop I have to ctrl+alt+del and click "cancel" when the options come up. Then my desktop returns like there was never a problem. Not a huge deal but slightly annoying. I even upgraded my video card (which is now awesome btw) thinking perhaps my card was going bad. Nope. This only happens with Eve. Please help.
