join a big 00 bloc train to salvage make tons of isk while you learn how 00 works then get a rating boat make tons of isk learn the market invest in the market. another suggestion is salvage your friends and corp mates missions sell it all on the market or find someone that will buy the loot from you. i think there is a chat channel that you can join people will let you salvage their missions. i dont know if my advice will help you tho since im very space poor (lol)

Knowledge first, ISK later.

Some missions are a lot more dangerous than others.

Work your way up gradually. If you are doing missions that stress your ability, sooner or later you are going to die regardless of how skilled you are or how good your fit is.

If you are PVP focused, you are better off killing NPC pirates in low sec. Leave missions to the care bears.

e.g. Accept part 2 of the mission, agent says "This has to be done quickly before reinforcements arrive". Bring in a long range ship, go through the gate, and get dropped 8 bloody km from 5 ships with webifiers on them, along with their 15 friends, several of whom are in much bigger ships. Webbed for 85-90% velocity, can't move, can't shoot back, screwed, dead.

I'd suggest armor tanking with a stable cap and training up your drones skills. Then simply activate your repper release ur drones and set them on the frigs that are webbing you.

I say armor tank becuase it frees up mid slots that u can fill with cap rechargers to help you attain a stable capacitor while ur armor repper is running.

set ur drones to passive and manually choose which enemies they attack.

once those frigs are dead use ur ab or mwd to get distance on the rest of the rats (U will probably want an ab to be cap stable)

Then use ur long range guns to blap enemies out of thier effective damage range.

rinse and repeat.

could you name the mission you were on where this happened to you?

The only mission i can think of off the top of my head where u are instantly webbed is the blockade. In which case is a stasis tower doing the webbing. If its that mission take out that damned tower first.

If ur having trouble on missions there is a channel called helpmymission you can go there and ask for help.

While its been mention briefly it bares repeat "Know your enemy"

If you are running missions from the same corp/agent you should normally be facing the same rats. Most corps have several enemies they want you to kill but in my experience each agent tends to send you after the same 2-3 and normally tells you either in the initial briefing or the mission details. Also one of the biggest complaints about missions particularly early missions is the repetition so you should learn you targets pretty quick.

So once you know WHO your out to kill look up not only what they are weak to but what they use and plan accordingly. Also since money is the issue do not change agents as soon as a new ones available keep running the same admittedly boring missions for awhile so you can raise money and keep a salvage ship nearby , I prefer a DD but and ship will do , the isk off of that can be a godsend to a new player.

And keep running the same corp as long as possible there are long range benefits (Like jump clones) but on top of that the more a agent likes you the better missions and the special ones you can get many of which are far easier then the normal missions with greater rewards are often worth it. Its often worth it t keep running a low level agent til your faction with their corp is high.

And one last bit o advice , as much as you may hate it take the week or so to raise a basic mining/builder alt because while afk mining is generally a bad idea you can mine mostly afk while doing other things. If anything as a mission runner / combat guppie building your own ammo can be a godsend.

All your deaths seem to be in lowsec systems and at the hands of gate-campers.
Stay in 0.5 or higher untill you have an idea of what you are doing and how to avoid those camps.

That's cause NPC losses luckily/sadly *depending on who you ask* don't show on killboards.
