Whatever happened to Mirial and Ubiqua Seraph?

So, as a new citizen of Eve, I've taken it upon myself to read up on the history. I remember reading about the Ubiqua Seraph incident at the time, and found this first hand account on truestories.eveonline.com. What was surprising to me was that Ubiqua Seraph was apparently a RP corp. Was this the fashion at the time, everyone going about in character and whatnot, or were they unique in that way?

Anyway, I was wondering if these old corps (and people) are still around? I looked in Eve Who and it appears the corp is defunct, as is a follow-up corp named Yazata Spenta. Have the players and Mirial just gone their separate ways, or is someone out there keeping the flame?

PS: the player created lore of Eve is way more interesting than the made-up stuff.

Most of the original Aegis Militia corps (and players) have quit the game or are out there with other groups now. Mirial quit before I joined AM back in 2007. [YZ] was pretty defunct by 2008.
