I just always find it funny that people say we use extortion. That's ridiculous. A permit is required to mine in highsec which signifies that you have read the Code and agree to it.

It's like a drivers license. You must pay for a drivers license. If you fail to live by the "Code" of your state, your license can be taken away, and you can be fined or jail.

"Extortion!"

See Bio for isk doubling rules. If you didn't read bio, chances are you funded those who did.

Anyway, if that was your point, why did you start by arguing that the racketeering was what made all of the actions of the New Order actions more legal if your point was that CCP could change the rules wildly in the future? Your new argument has nothing to do with the clarity of the current rules.

I believe it has everything to do with the current rules. That's how I read the statements from CCP---actions that might otherwise fall under the griefplay policy are exempted by making profit from them (various GM/dev posts in regard to the New Order, and the wording of the griefplay policy itself), unless you make TOO much profit from them, or are too successful by some other metric which will be determined after the fact, in which case you'll be banned for being TOO successful (various other famous cases). Profit is good, unless it's bad, and the limits of acceptable profit, both high and low, aren't clearly defined.

I understand that saying the racketeering might make the activites more legal, unless it makes it less legal, but it probably won't do either (except for the time when it already did and was posted about publicly but then that communication had to be removed because posting GM communications is against the EULA), isn't a very consistent message, but holding me responsible for said inconsistency would be shooting the messenger.

I should add that just like driving, mining in highsec is a privilege not a right.

Second time writting this first draft probably is better

A. CODE doesn't have sovernty of the systems it demands compliance and fees nor can it revoke what it calls a privilege. It would be acceptable controling a low-sec if CODE also if followed B.

B. CODE provides no services for fees demanded except possibly not ganking you. If CODE wants support or following be a bit more constructive and think beyond getting your jollies blowing up char that can't scratch you.

C. CODE couldn't persue their operations without either selling PLEX, 'Protection' I'm sorry Mining Permitts, bounties or using alts AND being hypocrites. Sorry folks, numbers don't lie EVE is a player driven economy and if the organization was truly what it says with outside support it would collapse, Catalysts and Thrashers costs alone would destroy CODE

D. CODE circumvents the law enforcement mechanics of the game by using support vessels that can't be attacked because although know to provide logistics and storage of the spotter ships and avoid getting flagged and subject to attack. Even if you are roleplaying use your brain, CODE says they want this that and the other but won't take the same risks. Lets see your support Orca's be lawful targets, hmm? Or quite hiding in stations, some people are willing to go at you on equal terms just don't want the outlaw status.

E. High-sec does have PvP that offers little or no choice of participating or not, it is called being at war, I do concede that fact that some players stay in NPC corps so are immune and an outlaw status is required for community enforced standards.

Hey if CODE truly so ethical and had a valid moral cause I'd say great, have at it I'm all for dealing with those who run bots, I personally find mining boring and do it on the needs of my corpmates and self and always in an active fleet chatting.
So quit bs'ing everyone including yourselves. If you want to RP fine, but take it where it belongs and appropriate in the game. Otherwise you are low-risk candy asses with bs rethoric trying to ride a moral high horse except it is dead and has no legs.

Although I'm quite ethusiastic about trying to blow you up before CONCORD gets you it offers no real benefit since I don't have an over inflated ego or god complex. So yea this is an alt, for couple reasons I rather be known for being on the killmail for your lost ship than what I said, and not all my corpmates are ready to properly deal with you until CCP closes the loopholes

No, you could just curl up in the nice furs of an RP tard.

CCP Greyscale: As to starbases, we agree it's pretty terrible, but we don't want to delay the entire release just for this one factor.

Aoi, if you wish to be taken seriously, please proofread and edit your manifesto. For instances, you need to pluralize corpmate unless all of your "corpmate" is you alone.

How quaint your proof read it, semi-organized content tends to out weigh proper grammar on forums sadly. Quite honestly I'm amazed that was all you had to say about it Big smile

Solution: Fit a tank. Stay aligned. Don't go AFK.

They're going for the "ccp please do it for me" approach

The difference being that the new order is equivalent to someone random coming up to you in the street and saying "hey, you can't drive that car without giving me £5, so pay up!". You're obviously like, "who the hell are you, get lost you have no authority here", and then they proceed to hit you with your own hand while going "stop hitting yourself, stop hitting yourself."

I think someone should emphasise this point further by "making-up" a new-new order, which requires all new order members to pay a 100mill subscription to be allowed to play in highsec. The whole universe is, afterall, owned by the new-new order, its sovereign territory, it's rightful owner and BLAH BLAH BLAH . Why? Cause this random person says so.

The new order is nothing but a scam, another means for the bottom feeders in EvE to get isk without having to do anything at all.

Post with your main, like a BOSS!

And no, i don't live in highsec.  As if that would make your opinion any less wrong.

Tho to attempt to answer the OP, here is some info randomly grabbed from the internet. Be warned, however, it's over a year old and therefore likely out of date: here

Damn what a waste of data replying with my entire post as quote, just state the obvious (or should be) "fit a tank, align, don't go afk" It is sound advice, just almost missed it

Hey, I say if you want to be a pirate go full throttle, and not the Lazy Town type either. I suggest really get into your role-play limit yourself to one account and character thrive off the 'booty' with pride, relish the blisters & boils, insect infested moldy bread. Egrot (most likely mispelled DILLIGAF) can either relieve a headache or kill you Big smile

Oh better idea, really hope someone suggested it before... Have other gankers target permit holders specifically, roflmao no racket, BS statement of purpose, maybe for fun announce in local with killmail "Thank you, for letting the universe you are a dumb sheep. we appreciate adding you to a frequent victim program"

I'm truly inspired and excited Lol New activity for me!

I started out serious, grew cynical, now just want to blow up people's crap for botting, selling permitts, permit holders who should know better...

Mutual misery makes everybody happy =)
