How would you handle this supercarrier situation?

I would put the api in evemon or one of the others, this will show wheer the character is, then fly a nullified cloaky T3 to the system and do some scouting for a day or 2. Find a time when the system is quite to try the login. Or just login 5 min before DT, that way if you you will see where you land, and no matter what, when the server reboots.. you will be safe, then plan from there.. but definitely get a scout into the system by checking where it is with the api.

It never occurred to me that CCP might move it for me. That would be ideal. I'll have to look into that option. Thanks!

I'm not going to involve third parties in this, as they're not needed just to move it to a safer place. No one knows where the super is located (not even myself, yet), or what I'm going to do with it afterward.

I certainly wouldn't use this character to sell it, if that's what I end up doing with it.

I do appreciate the advice from everyone, though.

Wait for 2-3 minutes before downtime, log the super in and jump it out. Unless you are incredibly bad at eve, it's 100% safe.

Try petitioning CCP first to see if they can have it moved for you. Considering the circumstances, I don't see why they wouldn't.

If not, the best thing you can do is gather intel and try to move it immediately before or immediately after downtime where there will be the least number of people online and thus, a smaller chance of you running into trouble.

I would avoid third party services. They are either going to scam or otherwise betray you, or be too easily influenced into doing that. Even a reputable mercenary corp is still in it for the money. All it takes is for someone to offer more and you'll find yourself in trouble.
