I would be more than willing to attend in some way or another...

Regrettably entry has been subsequently denied to TLF and FDU affiliates. Entry into Imperial systems will be met with appropriate levels of force. I apologize for the confusion.

He is saying that he is going to attend without your permission, probably bringing guns.

Might I recommend traditional Amarrian fashion such as kaftans and thawbs? Seems more culturally befitting than tuxedos and evening dresses.

I might consider attending, in spite the rather confusing list of invitees.

Is there an eve-standard time for this event?

I will do my best to attend. It can be hard to guarantee such things, though.

If you invite enemies to the same social function, you need to at least pay some lip service to this being an event to build some bridges and lessen hostilities, or for guests to let their hair down, something to that effect.

Otherwise the invitees tend to see the -other- people invited and think "why would I spend social time with those people trying to kill me?" or some such.

Makes for awkward party conversation around the punch bowl!

We can't have that

But you know, best of luck.

Not awkward at all, I'd imagine a conversation by a visiting gallente/minmatar member going something like this.

"lovely party here, I guess you need something to throw a party for. Oh and if you are thinking of using that side arm I'd like you to know my biometric life signs are set to remote activate a cyno field if my life signs were to drop to zero. Lovely party isn't it."

I would note that this social initiative on the part of Ms. Adrelana is solely their own and in no way is endorsed by the Pyre Falcon Defence Combine or any subsidiary thereof.

Off the official record, and on a personal note: Ms. Adrelana I find it strange one would join what is ostensibly a Caldari organization and then engage in the promotion of a foreign power the very next day. I will put it down to ignorance, as opposed to a deliberate act of foolishness, that has caused what is in effect a cultural and professional faux pas. For it must be only through a lack of political and cultural education as regards corporate politics in the State that would lead you to believe that an overt public display of support for a foreign military would be supported by an organization such as Pyre Falcon Defence Combine whose shareholders and clients would see such as unwelcome religious proselytizing at worst or a failure to adhere to the cultural and societal norms of the Caldari at best.

Every employee of the Combine reflects upon its brand, and since religious proselytizing is an undesired association with it, you may consider your current employment under official review, pending termination. I would further suggest, that if a celebration of your Amarrian heritage is desired as part of the promotion of understanding of foreign cultures in an open, progressive and liberal corporate framework in the State I might suggest companies operating closer under the Hyasyoda or Ishukone brand of thinking.

Regards,

Veikitamo Gesakaarin
Chairwoman

Miss Gesakaarin, not that I would ever tell you how to perform your duties, but a slight consideration of the many foreign offices that KK maintains, along with its status as an...international supplier of certain military-friendly commodities...might advise one with an attention to the bottom line to approach such considerations with a certain amount of friendly caution.

Whilst true, I do not represent Kaalakiota in any official capacity. Nor do I have the profile, publicity or skillset to serve as a Foreign Liaison Officer on its behalf.

I am however the Chairwoman of an independent corporate military services provider in the State and this often requires certain clarifications to be made in public in order that the loyalties of its contractors and thus the organization itself are within the corporate-political guidelines set by stakeholders.

For those still interested, the event will be continuing as normal. Time frame will be from approximately 2100 galactic time until approximately 0100, this is to avoid the heat that plagues the surface of my homeworld. I look forward to welcoming those who wish to attend. As for politically neutral Capsuleers ... Mail me and we can discuss it.

I do this for many reasons. I do it because I believe it is right. I do it because I will profit by it. These all consolidate into one reason: I do it because I can.

Not that I wish to nitpick or undermine any efforts on behalf of your Caldari friends, but I'd just like to add I'd have expected Khanid Kingdom and Ammatar Mandate pilots to find themselves on that guest list before the Caldari.

Faux pas seems to be quite the latest chic, it seems.

Pilots of the Kingdom and the Mandate are more than welcome at this gathering. Service is what matters, not your ethnicity. I had thought I'd made that sufficiently clear, but apparently not.

So did Gesakaarin kick you out for mixed loyalties or did you "leave on your own?"

Either way I'd say you've certainly made a splash onto the capsuleer socialite scene!

Well... more like a belly flop.

Don't worry though dear, it's not for everyone.

Appropriate lessons have been learnt regarding planning and organization.
As for my loyalties, these are and always have been first and foremost to the Empire. This has not and will never change. This is all I am prepared to say on the matter of my departure from Pyre Falcon.
As for the event itself, the festivities will be taking place a day early for various boring reasons, so the date is now the Twenty First, also known as tommorrow.

I wonder why you aren't allowed to invite people who don't agree with you to your parties anymore. One would think that, as long as weapons were not to be tolerated, they might learn something.

Or, at the very least, that if you didn't like the guest list at a party, you wouldn't complain about it. You just wouldn't go.
