- Scram keeps him from warping away, also shuts down his MWD unlike a disruptor :)
- 3 Fed Navy Web's (on top of scram) ensure he moves like a fly stuck in amber...
- Your 100mn AB cannot be turned off by a scram, so you can still burn :)
- Will almost insta-cap out a Frigate or AF, and cap out up to a Cruiser in 1 minute or so...
- EC-600's just in case, although with a 100mn and 3 webs you should be able to pull range if need be :)

Wait till he gets close, then scram + 3x webs + 1 neut, followed by guns and second neut 6 seconds after the first, so you have one of each firing every 6 seconds and keeping him perma-capped. Then drop Warrior II's on him.

If he launches drones (i.e. Ishkur) kill those first. Set your drones 'engage target' command to a hotkey, so you can sick both your guns and drones quickly on his drones. Don't let him kill your drones, cap him out first while using fast Warrior II's first, then switch to Hammer's for the coup de grace'

You can try to minimize your damage by staying out of his blaster 'Void s' ammo range by orbitting at 5km and shooting 'Null s' ammo. He will probably have null also, but your tank and overall DPS w/ drones will win the day easily -- especially with his guns & active repper capped out :)

Terrible, terrible fit. Its got 3 fed navy webs when 3 fleeting propulsion inhibitors would do to web out to scram range. You're paying 150mil to web a dude into warp. The scram range bonus on the faction scram makes it not worth it. Medium Unstable Power Fluctuators already neut out past scram range as well. I have no idea what you were thinking.

You gave up a low and a rig slot to fit a 100mn AB when you could just fit an mwd. Are you really afraid that someone who is double webbed and scrammed is getting away? On top of that you have zero active tank and no cap booster, yet feel the need to fit an egress port maximizer.

You fit a magstab to boost 3 small hybrid guns instead of just fitting a second DDA for 5 bonused warrior II's. Hilariously bad.

Clear sign of highsec scrubbery. Please never post advice again.

Ok, several people have posted ideas on what to do the next time a mission griefer comes by. Does anyone have a fit that will both do a level 3 mission and be able to handle a frigate flown by an experienced pilot?

Also one more somewhat off topic question: I was just now missioning and came across [Character's Name]'s DNA in some of my loot. I did an alt-E looked her up and it was an actual player character. I had just barely accepted the mission, flew out there and did it. What is this loot for? How did it get there? Its estimated worth is 600,000.

Is it Kruul's DNA? It is an NPC mission drop, nothing to do with another character despite the name. Don't know what it does - never done the missions.

Zappity's Adventures for a taste of lowsec and nullsec.

Im not a huge fan of how casually the word griefer is being thrown around . The guy just wanted a fight. When he didnt get a fight he left. This is eve online folks. This is called content. To the op...one day you may just want just want the rush pvp provides. Good luck.

I will go slowly so you can understand...

True sansha scram overheated reaches to 13.5km
Fed navy webs reach to 14km
Imperial neuts reach to 14km

Making sense now princess? Now I am not an impoverished snigwaffe troll with a lousy kill record compared to mine, and opinions are like ******, but even you can hopefully figure out that being able to neut+scram+web out to 14km is better than 9km? OP can orbit further away from target and apply pwnage while mitigating enemy damage from blasters or autocannons (w/ falloff to 11/12km), and hey -- also keep out of HIS scram range. This is a bad thing?

Fitting the 100mn AB is so obvious I wonder if you have ever pvp'd at all? The combo of scramming + 3x webbing his opponent (who is probably in a faster base speed frigate) and his prop mod not being an MWD that can be shut off by enemy scram should have spoken for itself. A scrammed MWD myrm can do 172m/s, a 3x webbed AB Dramiel can still do 180 m/s. With 100mn AB our Myrm can still do 333m/s when webbed & scrammed....

Swapping the mag stab for second drone damage amp kinda puts all your bets on the drones, drones can be counter killed. I went for balance.

While you may have a valid point, your delivery is inappropriate and gets personal, if you cannot say it without getting nasty, keep it to yourself.

Now, now, girls... You're BOTH pretty.

This was all high sec, so what could he have done?

Killed you, or warped off. If he warped off, you had better warp off too (and bounce from warp point to warp point until your agro timer wears off and you can dock... otherwise... if you stick around, he'd be back in something that would easily solo your Myrm (Ie, another battlecruiser, a command ship, a battleship, Heavy assault cruisers, etc)

"I had an Omni-tanked battlecruiser (all resistances 50%+)"
Well, thats better for PvPng, but 50% resists aren't that high

a stable cap,
but not after he neuts/NOS's you, the enyo does have a space high slot after all

"a target painter, tons of ammo,"
Target painter could have helped, all the ammo in EVE is of no use if you can't hit your target with it, and you're dead before its used.

and a decent number of drones to deploy (I have better drone skills than you might imagine).

The drones would be your best defense, but an enyo would do a pretty good job of killing them, I suspect, leaving you with just your guns that will probably be unable to track him
Note he could have had an off grid booster, granting him many bonuses. The sig radius reduction from a skirmish link would make up for your target painter, for instance.

Quote:
what could he have done? How could he have even hurt me? The only thing was I could not tackle him, so if we fought I guess he would have flown off.

Option 1: Kill your drones, then break your tank through sheer DPS
Option 2: Kill your drones, then turn off your tank with a neut/nos, then burn through your buffer
Option 3: Have a logistics ship land on grid, to keep him alive, then do option 1 or 2 skipping the part about killing your drones
Option 4: Warp of, and return in a ship that just plain has more tank and gank than yours (like a Vindicator, for instance), then proceed to ravage your ship if you're foolish enough to stay there salvaging.

The same thing probably occurred to him because he quickly left without continuing to loot. Yeah, I should have tried to kill him. Maybe I would have gotten lucky.

Nope, he probably thought you were not a gullible target, and his time was better spent looking elsewhere for fools. If he is reading this, he's probably thinking he should have stayed and continued to loot.

Once, I saw an atron (before the frigate rebalance, when they were pretty crappy) doing this sort of crap.
I was in a Geddon (back before it was a drone boat), I didnt even have large lasers, I was running medium lasers (which was actually a surprise for him, I guess). I knew it was a trap, but I decided to sick my drones on him, and open up with a volley of medium lasers. I didn't manage to pop, him, but he warped off with some damage. I knew I had to GTFO too, and I barely had time to recall my drones, as the last of my drones docked, and my ship was nearing the 75% speed to warp off (I really should have pre aligns) - a curse landed on grid. A moment later, I was off, and bouncing from planet to planet, then docked up.
I had a convo with the guy.
He appreciated the entertainment, even if his hunt was unsuccessful.
I was really hoping to get an Atron kill as my first PvP victory, then warp off.

Now, with the rebalanced frigates, and knowing about the possibility of a logi landing and giving shield transfers... I wouldn't recommend it at all.

It wasn't his first rodeo, he was there to kill you, he knew what he was doing, you didn't. Congrats on resisting, and keeping your BC.
