Ive had a chat with a couple of ingame buddies, and we came to the conclusion, if CCP was to reset everything, reroll everyones skills to 1m sp., but keep all the patches and updates, delete all sovs and have every player start fresh, things would be much more interesting

Everything gets reset, you are to be allowed to keep 1m sp.

Thoughts?

Market is instantly crashed because people will get reimbursements for all PLEX's and all skill books.

OP I've consulted with several random people and we've come to the conclusion that you should give me all of your stuff, and then pod yourself back into a 900,000 SP medical clone if you wish to experience what you suggest.

And what about the people with Titan and capital ships and other things that take ages to train? Months of training gone instantly. That wouldn't be fair to the people who put the effort in. If you dont like the current state things are in. Stop playing.

Yea, well, except it doesn't... not possible, because the base game stays the same, as do the players and their strategies.

SP does make a differnce but not alot

Anyway, no. People put a lot of effort and money into this game to get where they have. CCP would not survive the financial crash of a server reset. I'd expect my 8 accounts with 6 years free subscriptions, or I'd be gone in a heartbeat. A lot of other vets would be the same.

I know, I'm taking a trollin' post serious, but here goes...

Wouldn't change anything. The groups who hold sov out in 0.0, are groups out of game too. You won't break those up. They'll promptly go back in and re-claim their sov. You and you'r five buddies still won't stand a chance.

Even as it is now, SP is not the raw decider of a fight. I go throw down with a 2003 char, only the skills that apply to what we're using matter. If we're both flying cruisers, his skill in, say, Amarr Titan has no application. I might even win, if the 2003 has crap cruiser skills.

All it would do is **** off a bunch of folks, and cause maybe 3-4 days of havoc until everything settled down. Most of the playerbase would quit. EVE would die.
