Occasional crash in the area of a stargate

This is old for me but I am still experiencing issues when in the area of a stargate. If I am playing a lot it game will crash a few times a day and rarely BSOD. Seems graphic related, game freezes. Possible to tab out if fast enough and wait for jump, after jump is done (i keep noise in background) its usually safe to tab back in. If not fast enough I have to kill process manually.
I use 2 accounts at same time but I had this happen with a single character logged in. Seen notice of graphic drivers crashing and recovered a few times after tabing too. This is making travel in risky areas extremely more dangerous. Never lost a ship to that but its a question of time.
