Merc Contracts channel. abusive of power

Apparently, I'm no longer banned from that channel. I wouldn't wish mod status on anybody I liked. Seems like work and a lot of catty men.

My first day back in channel and it felt like I sharted in a full elevator.

no more games... it's real this time!!!

The problem is that Rebirth. was well-known to have caused issues in the channel ,and Kai86, the CEOof Rebirth., actively boasted that he **** on the channel with his scamming. He talked about how easy it was to scam people out of ISK, and also that given the chance, he would do it again without hesitation.

I'm sorry Devils got shafted, but you take the good with the bad when you bring a corporation into the alliance. It wasn't exactly a state secret that Rebirth. had done this in the past--I believe I mentioned it both in the Marmite Collective thread several months back and when Rebirth. was brought into Whores in Space, though I'll also stipulate that when Rebirth. joined Whores nothing happened to them.

I don't know. As I said, you take the good with the bad, and you brought in a group led be a child who thinks it's hilarious to scam people in the merc channel. As far as I'm concerned, the integrity has been upheld, bud. Sorry you get shafted in the process.

Leadership is something you learn. Maybe one day, you'll learn that.

Devils is relisted and for a good reason.

Even though RB have done a lot of scamming in the past, it's not a reason to remove devils, since RB is not taking contracts.
There'd be better ways you could work around it, besides it's going to be raz problem if/when RB scams.

Devils is relisted and for a good reason.

There'd be better ways you could work around it, besides it's going to be raz problem if/when RB scams.


Yeah, I've been out of it for a few weeks now, and only noted the date the post was made (I'll also admit I read the OP and nothing more, it's 0222 right now, and I'm loving my Percocets! <3). It doesn't, however, detract from what I was saying (and I also defended in a manner when I mentioned Rebirth and Whores and what-not).

EDIT: I also mentioned that Kai86 said that in a heartbeat he would scam in that channel again, and he isn't afraid to use alts to do it (hence why the original blacklisting). But hey, I've been told I don't know what I'm talking about when it comes to Rebirth.. Hey, Zeus....how's that alliance going? :)

I'm pretty sure our alliance is making sure that Kai86 knows about this and the second he does scamming again under the Devil's flag, Rebirth will be kicked the second that happens again.

Ofc if Kai86 doesn't want to be in this alliance anymore, he are welcome to scam someone then. I'm not gonna stop him. It's his corp and he's the man who decides what the corp is gonna do.

Last time i checked, kai wasnt the one who scammed out of mercs...it was uncle bao. Quit being butthurt that you didnt make the cut in rebirth and, oh whats the phrase, got shafted.

The banning happened before Uncle Bao came in and showed Kai how much of an idiot he is. Unless Kai86 is Uncle Bao (Kai86, by the way, is the one named as the scammer by Mercs Contracts, not Bao) then I think you should walk away, Jason Hardwick.

You should arguably have delisted the alliance and explained why, not demanded to alliance leadership that they remove a corporation.
