Merc Contracts channel. abusive of power

So doesn't that mean that you should delist everyone that disagress with you on the delisting of Devils? Since they've basically broken that rule by disagreeing with you?

I'm pretty sure that RB have been scamming contracts, and probably also broken the professionalism... and they disagree with this now, so that's 3/3?

So this actually leads me to my question... What do you consider other mercs in the channel as?

i have to agree. I think the problem is that everyoe is coming at this thinking this channel is a public channel when infact it is run as a private channel. Therefore we are here on the whims of a small group so the arguments are pretty much dead in the water.

I woudl argue there probably needs to be a channel with a more even way of creating and enforcing rules.

Fact of the matter Alek is Whores also had RB there and you did nothing about it..Granted they either left Whores or got kicked later but THE FACTS ARE NOTHING WAS DONE BEFORE THAT...I know this for a FACT....Personally i think you are a POS and this so called merc channel has turned into nothing more than politics....I personally don't have any love for RB or another corp in Devils for that matter...BUT i still maintain my blue with Devils as i trust Raz to handle his alliance...YOU DID NOT PUNISH WHORES NOR DID YOU THREATEN THEM IN ANY SHAPE OR FORM TO BOOT REBIRTH AND I HAVE THIS KNOWLEDGE FROM A MOD (KHROM)...

Why would anyone in their right mind want all this drama for the sake of 5 shytty pilots?

Beware the snake you pet the head of Devils, it may be snuggling into you right now, but it always bites you on the arse when you turn your back on it.

Rebirth and especially Kai86 will feed you all the bullshit in the world you want to hear to your face, meantime his own agenda and that of his corpmates is ever at the forefront of his mind and if it turns to custard, he will shyte on you as quick as he looked at you.

The sheer beligerance I see written all the time from the people that attempt to defend him (Kai86) is hilarious, considering the history of this repeating itself over and over again year after year can easily be researched on the forums.

I give it a few months and you will be at each others throats and wondering why the hell you allowed this venomous cad anywhere near your alliance.

This particular snake never sheds his skin..........

Side Note of a few facts:

1. Rebirth and Rebirth members including Kai86 created fake corporations (Namely The Final 5tand) used their excellent reputation in the Merc Business to scam billions of isk from people and never completed a single contract

2. Rebirth scammed under their own name and did not complete contracts

3. Kai86 and his multitude of alts account sharing across various corp members have recieved several short and medium term bans (and no doubt will so again in the future)

4. Kai86 has recieved several bans for breaking the eula in more serious ways including threats and harrasment (why would anyone want this creep associated with them if they profess to be professionals?)

5. As soon as Rob (whores in space) found out the truth of the matter and saw for himself what Rebirth was truely like he asked for them to be removed from WIS immediately (UMAD directors refused due to weakness)

6. WIS took Rebirth in on Zeus (UMAD) recomendation and now wishes they had done their homework.

7. Rebirth drama has destroyed and disrupted more high sec corp/alliance/Mercs over the past 5 years than any other entity in EvE and not even Vegasmirage is capable of such destruction because as Alek suggested Vegas is mental, Rebirth members are just outright devious ,backstabbing, manipulative degenerates.

8. Exploits and force multipliers are all they know and they drag any decent entity down to the gutter to remain there, in a real fight they arent scarey at all, infact they tend to lose to carebears that fight back on multiple occasions

9. Lies/deception, **** talking and falsified stories of how they did something or got somewhere are par for the course, along with idle threats of repercussions they arent capable of, so idiots are scared and would rather have them (Rebirth) with them than against (I refer back to UMAD)

10. Rebirth alts (they have hundreds) are frequently in the Merc Channel and I have seen them shyt talking on many occasions.


Regardless of how you swing anything, Rebirth will always be the root cause of drama and descension in high sec just by simply still existing while maintaining the mentality they have done for the past 5-6 years.

No spots will be changing with Rebirth, ever......

Sadly great corps like UMAD are willing to destroy their own reputations in defense of these scrubs...

Most of us know Rebirth history as much as you, but that dont give Alek (or you) any right to dictate who my members are...
With Alek saying he had used 2 hours dealing with it when they was in whores.. and people getting delisted because of the drama. He said you got delisted because of Rebirth.

How did that happen?
I thought you had listed The Final stand after the whole whores thing?

The fact that you takes everyone in Rebirth under the same boat for that makes us to believe that you have a very serious personal vendetta against Rebirth as a corp. Witch leads us to believe you are actually one of the reasons why it went this far.

Oh also, wasn't it you (it was a girl who convoed me, so i believe it's you with another character) when you was in 'The Final Stand' that convoed me over a year ago when i was in Rebirth last time that told me that i was dumb for being with Rebirth and we was just poor cheaters because we used logistics to win fights while you didn't use it and about how much fail Kai86 was and so on?

That girl / you was raaaaaaaging like crazy. I have never seen anyone rage that much in a convo before. I was totally speechless and i was about to fall of my chair in laughter because of that.

You say this like being in my alliance is a shameful thing even though you came groveling to me when you left Whores for protection against undesired reciprocation from Rebirth. I realize you do not like Rebirth but I'm seriously beginning to wonder where exactly Kai touched you to cause such rabid sperging all over the forums.

I have made it no secret that I do not hold Rebirth in high regard. I do, however, think highly of Devil's and in particular Raz. As such, I'm personally of the opinion that Alek is more interested in persuing a personal vendetta against Rebirth than reasonably and responsibly moderating the Merc Contracts Channel, regardless of the collateral damage.

I understand the concerns about Rebirth scamming that channel, even though it was my understanding that it was Uncle Bao who perpetuated the majority of the scamming as an individual, without the knowledge nor consent of the rest of the corp. Even if current members of Rebirth scammed in the past, I think it's hilarious and quite ham-fisted of Alek to punish Devil's prior to there being any problems from the membership of Rebirth while they are a part of Devil's. Had they been scamming in the channel after they joined, I could completely understand Alek telling Raz he had to get it under control or get the boot. To punish them prior to any problems is sophomoric behavior at best.

Hell, Cannibal Kane has a permanent, open invitation to join my alliance until the end of time, even though he, and several of his alts, have been permanently banned from the Merc Contracts Channel for scamming contracts. The very first time Kane joined he asked if I had any rules, and I told him to lie, scam, smack talk, and anything else under the sun to anyone and everyone, so long as he didn't scam any contracts, as that negatively impacts our business. He could do recruitment scamming, not honor ransoms, pretend to have homoerotic roleplay sex, or whatever else he could possibly contrive, as long as he didn't cross that one line. Unsurprisingly, he did not cross that line because he was interested in playing with us even though it removed one of his most profitable income sources.

As it turns out, Kane's play-times don't match up as well with ours as both parties would have liked, and so he's moved on, as he has done multiple times. Like I said before, he is always welcome back. Does this mean that BAW should be kicked from the Merc Contracts Channel because I'm recruiting someone I personally like and think has both the skills and the personality to integrate well into my alliance? I don't think so, and apparently neither do the mods, as we are still currently listed. Why? Because even though one of the moderators, Khromius, has no love for Kane, he is a reasonable human being and realizes that I can handle my own affairs and that my alliance should not be held accountable for what Kane has done in the past. If there was a problem of scamming after he had joined, then I would have been most welcome to having a chat about what was going on so that I could appropriately address it, or be subsequently unlisted. The same courtesy was extended to Whores in Space while Rebirth was among their ranks, but why has it not been given to Devil's?

What this really comes down to is that Alek needs to take a step back and try to act like an adult rather than an insecure, power-crazed, high-school kid who is incapable of separating personal disdain from responsible action.

Whores in Space got the same mail Devils got, and they sent the same response asking for an exception since RB would not have anything to do with their contracts and had behaved up to that point. Despite warnings Whores kept asserting they could handle it and there wouldnt be any problems. Well, there were problems.

What makes Devils different from Whores in Space in this context? Or from the other 3 occasions RB has been given a chance in some form or another only to abuse it? I saw and continue to see no reason it would be different THIS time with THIS alliance. So I did the responsible thing, learned from history, and held firm to a decision the mods made together which has time and time again been proven prudent.

To be clear, Devils as an alliance is not banned from the channel, they just are not listed.

@Adriel I'm not as personally familiar with Cannibal's case as Khromius and would probably defer to his judgement on the subject, which seems to be that it's fine.

I'm very curious to know what all this power i have is. Someone tell me, it sounds like fun lol.
