Gank-a-Geddon > Reverse Hulk-a-Geddon > Crazy Idea?

How about setting aside a week or two, for a Reverse Hulk-a-Geddon?

Hulk pilots could be rewarded based on such stats as:
- most kill mails obtained while flying their Hulks
- best bait Hulk > most ganks survived
- etc.

Benefits:
- Many ships (Hulks and non-Hulks) destroyed > better mineral prices
- Hulk pilots learning to tank their hulks better
- Hulk pilots feeling like they can get a little revenge on gankers
- Maybe some fun fights

It would obviously take a lot of work to fully flesh out and run the "event" ...

Just a wild idea - has anyone proposed this sort of thing before?

(This is from long before the NOS-nerf and WCS changes, but I see no reason why it couldn't still work.)

Star Wars: the Old Republic may not be EVE. But I'll take the sound of dual blaster-pistols over "NURVV CLAOKING NAOW!!!11oneone!!" any day of the week.
