Had the same issue till some minutes ago from Italy.

Cleared cache, closed all processes related to eve, start in safe mode, run repair tool and after it finishes client went ready quickly.
Don't know if CCP fixed something on their side or if what I did have been of some use.

Yep, this worked for me, highlighted anything that was 'dot.patch' deleted it, and just ran the launcher again.

But ffs ccp, as fail as you all are, why the **** do we have to figure this **** out. So lame.
