I have been an avid reader of eve blogs lately and am interested in trying some blogging for myself. I don't really know how to spread the word of my potential new blog as evebloggers.com is no longer updating their blog posts, and its been several weeks. I also found eveblogs.net but they don't really showcase many independent writers so I doubt it'd work well for me. Then I found www.blogeve.com and they seem to have a large collection of blogs. I could submit to mega blogging websites but Eve-Online is far to cool for them. Does anyone else know where I can promote an Eve blog? And does anyone know why evebloggers.com is down?

You can post a link to it in your bio and forum signature.
Its not the "best" way but if you talk to a lot of people/post a lot it still helps spread it across a larger audience that may or may not be looking in the forum sections things like this is normally advertised.

Try Reddit. Obviously it's not your personal soapbox, so don't spam them with links, but plugging something now and then should be cool with them.

Also, put it in your bio and forum sig, then be active.

Start a blog.
Link to other blogs that you like that are on topic with yours. They may notice and link back
Add the link to your blog in your forum signature.
Use twitter to announce your new posts to #tweetfleet or some other social media you use.
Write interesting articles that others want to read and others will link in various social media sites.
Rinse and repeat with some frequency.

EVE is a game about spaceships and there's an enormous amount of work to do on the in-space gameplay before players (or developers) are ready to sacrifice it for a totally new type of gameplay - CCP Rise
