Intergalactic Summit

Hello. I am Wing Cmdr. Diana Kim, Caldari soldier and philosopher. Most probably you know me from my calls to fight against gallenteans, freedom and those, who cherish ideals of freedom. But today, I want to talk about something else.

It is not hard to kill. Maybe you will have troubles killing for the first time. Maybe for the second and a couple of consequent kills. Your feelings will betray you and you may even become sick. But eventually it will pass. I have killed a lot. In spaceships. On ground with my guns, and even barehanded. And, do you know, what I feel, when I kill? Nothing. At first it was essential for me, to project all evils of the world to gallenteans. To call them monsters, inhuman beings. It helped me a lot to kill without having any feelings for them. And now I don't need even that. I simply do my job. You see, it is not hard, and thus I will not ask you to do this. You will come to this eventually yourself, when you will be ready. What I will ask you to do, is actually way harder, and will require lifelong dedication.

Have you ever heard the word Heiian? I bet you do. It was sighting a lot in these comms. I have to admit, that I never heard this word before I became a capsuleer. Nobody said me, that I should be Heiian in monastery, in the Academy or during my military service. But they taught me, that I am not just a person, but I am a part of monastery. Part of my squad. Part of the army. And part of my State. And to be a good part, I must play my role. Good parts don't live just for themselves, they live for the whole mechanism. Those part, that don't exist for the whole machine, are called defunct. They are extracted, thrown away and replaced. That's what happened with managers, who got their positions with nepotism. Tibus Heth came and replaced them. And these defunct parts are still hurt, blaming Heth-haan with all possible sins. But our talk today is not about them. Our talk today will be about us, and how to not became one of these defunct parts.

The main idea behind this, is that to be a good part, you must do what you have to do, and not what you want to do. To do what you want to do, is the main principle of gallentean society. They have different mechanism for this, that they call freedoms, rights, liberty, and hedonism. And to make them bloom and prosper they simply make rules, for desires of one peoples won't disturb desires of another, so the whole society could bathe in one huge hedonistic mud puddle. Gallentean society strives with this.

But we, civilized peoples, who don't want to jump into gallentean mud baths, want to avoid it. The problem is, that there is a little gallentean inside each of us, who screams: "I WANT!" And it is him, who we must kill first. If we won't be able to kill him, we won't be able to become good parts of society, we will be defunct... broken, aimless creatures, who could live only in decadent gallentean pits of filth. And this kill can't compare to any of kills that you could experience.

We must kill this little gallentean inside our own mind. When it will scream: "I WANT!" You must ask yourself a question: "But do I need it?" And if you answer: "No, I don't need it", you should realize, that if you don't need it, you don't want it. Tell this little gallentean "I DON'T WANT IT!" and he will die. We don't need to eat if we are not hungry. We don't need to eat food only because of good taste. We don't need to do sex, if we don't need to procreate. We don't need to take baths, if we can just to use shower to clean ourselves quick. We don't need to watch holoreels, if they don't contain information that is essential for us to learn. And so on.

Luckily, we are capsuleers, and being in a pod will help us a lot. If you can't kill your little gallentean inside yourselves at once, try to stay in pod for some time. You don't have to eat in pod, you don't have to have sex in pod, etc. In pod you will feel yourself part of the ship. You, a capsuleer, is a reusable control module of the ship. Cherish your function and do it well. Gain happiness from doing your work properly. You are now part of a spaceship, of something bigger and complex. You are not your body, you are not your soul. You are your purpose and your role. Learn this while you use your capsule, and then apply it with your body outside it. Behave like you are still a pod pilot, but your ship is the whole society. Your ship is your squad, your corporation and your State. Maybe you are not a commanding module of your new "ship", but you are still a part of it.

Remember, our bodies are just biological mechanisms, and our lives are just illusions. If you will succumb to your little gallentean, you will get a momental good feeling, that will pleasure you. But it is just an illusion. Tomorrow it will be gone. But what you have done to get this feeling will remain forever. You could ask others to help, and they will forcefully remove what you want from yourself. They can put you in restraints, preventing little gallentean from getting what he wants. But it will solve nothing. This little gallentean will still live inside you and will gnaw your soul. You still have to defeat him, you have to tell him: "I DON'T WANT!" And only then you will become stronger. Only by doing so you will improve your willpower, and became real good part of the society.

You will have to defeat him not once, but everytime he will appear and scream "I WANT!" If you succeed in this, no gallentean propaganda or temptations would be able to corrupt you and turn you into self-pleasing animal.

If you succeed, you will became the real Human.

So what you're saying is that you feel the need to destroy the Federation because you personally feel there is a Gallentean inside of you?

A thought just occurred to me. Based on Kim's wild ramblings both here and in the Summit comms channel, I think the problem is that she's subconsciously enamored of Gallentean men yet afraid to act on her desires for fear of being called a hypocrite. In particular, I point to her frequent attacks on Pilot Ixiris. This seems to me to be a desperate plea for attention.

Pilot Kim, if you want to get Pilot Ixixis' attention (and/or affection) there are better and more subtle ways to get what you want. Send a coy little note, send a bottle of wine or, just drop all pretense and send nude holos of yourself. Just stop with the genocidal ramblings. Please.
