i have stupid dreams.

anything from dinosaurs chasing me. driving my car around while a blanket, with a life of its own tries to blind me or cut off my air or i'm like super cool secret spy chick with night vision sniper rifle and my mission is to kill gerbils. they rarely make any sense. i sometimes have painful ones revolving around my childhood home. but they aren't always bad. sometimes they are bittersweet.

but often i can make no sense of my dreams. i just had one last night where i was at a park and a hispanic guy was trying desperately to show me a tattoo. and i just didn't want to see it. "look tattoo!" and i was all like 'no, thank you." "LOOK AT TATTOO!" i say, "please go away." and he did...but he just went to another bench and he stared at me very sullenly and i woke up feeling bad. lol

I have always pictured you more like this :p

fairly accurate. but that's more of when i am awake than asleep Oops lol

I think that the oddest dream I haver ever had was one that I still don't remember .... but it must have been bloody good ...because I woke myself laughing Shocked and for some reason I still had a grin on my face hours later ... now that's weird Ugh

Thanks for all the replies - it's something that fascinates me. There seem to be quite a lot of variations in how people dream and how they feel about their dreams.

I've had many dreams from which I have woken up laughing. I absolutely love it when that happens. Oddly enough when I wake my self up laughing it is very rare that I remember the dream. Most of the time I can remember them. I think it's because I "come to" so quickly and I am so confused at finding myself laughing I forget! HAHAHAHA - oh **** wtf? Lolatmyselfslightlyembarrassed - go back to sleep grinning!

I've had quite a few dreams that were so real I have based conversations off them in real life - only to be met by complete bafflement by the person I am speaking to! Thankfully that is quite rare.

The nice thing about the way I dream, is that it is almost impossible for me to have a nightmare.

The annoying thing about it is that I can dream about being at work. When that happens it feels like all night and I wake up shattered.

Oh - and I laughed out loud reading about the deodorant in the microwave! Big smile

I know I said I wouldn't do this but one of my dreams involved me (in the dream) waking up in the morning, getting out of bed and reaching out to turn the light on. When my hand reached the light switch it went straight through it into the wall. It surprised me so much I actually woke up. I had the same dream about 10-12 times that night, waking up every time after. When I actually woke up in the morning I couldn't work out if I was dreaming or awake. Believe me I REALLY hesitated when I went to put the light on I can tell ya. Was giggling at myself all day for that one. Stupid brain.

Aaaaaaand relax.
