Need help updating EVE post 1.1

Every time I try to update to Odyssey 1.1 the update fails. Have tried on 3 clients so far. I am now downloading a brand new client and hope it works.

A corpmate told me to try running the repair client function but it seems to not be available on the mac client. If the new client gives the same problems when its done, what can I do?

I have even tried downloading on my pc side via bootcamp but the pc EVE installer always fails.

EDIT: downloading a brand new client works. Still annoying though.
