Odyssey 1.1 on MacBook Pro launched once, now throws exception even before it gets to Launcher

1. installed the patch OK
2. launched the game the first time OK
3. quit via the menu screen
4. logged out of one account, logged into a second
5. clicked "play" ... graphic said "launching" but that never happened.
6. Had to force-quit the launcher
7. Every time thereafter, I get the same result - an "exception" dialogue box. I've captured the log, but these forums won't let me "paste html" which apparently the logs contain html. I can email to a dev or post for download if needed. The first bit of the exception is shown below.
