I think that if you are unable to simply tell people that you're not in the mood, or busy,
and instead need CCP to provide you with a feature to help you with your social incompetency ...

... because saying "No." or "Not today, sorry" or anything in a nice manner isn't actually hard, but HONEST ...

This could be a in-station/POS only feature. Sometimes you really just want to be by yourself in the loo.

I could see this under some restrictions.

You cannot be in space
You cannot undock without a large delay, and during that delay you are taken out of stealth mode, added to all the chat channels you are normally in, and you pop up in watch lists. The delay is to model the log in delay normally present.
You cannot see the pilot list in any chat channel, unless they talk there.

What can you do? Market, industry, fit ships, manage your inventory. So it would be more of a "station only" log-in mode.

Exactly for this reason i want it gone, away, done with. Lets be honest there are spies everywhere who have nothing to do. This would make actual spying :effort:.

My fix would be to confirm people adding you to their watch list, if you want to see me logging in i get a notice and have to approve it.

Terrible suggestion there Op.

What may well be brought in by CCP is a marker/indicator of some kind which you can toggle for your chat channels to indicate 'AFK'

But a an invisible logon ? Just *LOL*
