That said, it is always to the credit of CCP that the size and complexity of the patches show how much work goes into each patch iteration.

I did, it didn't install, and after closing and restarting the launcher I now get a new patch download which is 751 MB in size. So no, it's probably not wise to download before TQ is up for real... but I'm unusually impatient today .
