I did look into it a bit, but couldn't figure out quickly how to get that information.

Only having five drones to launch and in a group still causes the window to flash when launching.

Yeah... now it works so the drone is launched/recalled and then moved....but I have been wondering if we should change it so if the drone is not in the same location, it will only be launched/recalled.

Assigning drones is a big thing in different doctrines, wether its fast lockers or slowcats or domis. Currently u have to assist or assign by findng someone alphabethically. Pretty hard in a big fleet.

Can u add so u can rightclick someone from. The watchlist and have the same asign and assist option on drones plz

So if I'm trying to recall a drone quickly while under fire, I need to drag it to a rather small target area. Not good. Sad
The rest is awesome, suspect that I'll still be using the right click to pull drones back 'quickly' though.

If the recall option becomes first layer on the radial menu for drones that would be the best option.

I'm looking at the bugreport and I don't understand... what do you mean bey "reset your drone action count"? Is this not just an issue of if the radial menu delay is low and you are too slow to drag you get the radial menu?

hmmm... we thought about replacing the "orbit" option with "return and orbit" but felt it broke a little bit the concept of those being actions that your ship is taking on the other object and I think this falls under that... but would be nice Smile

Yep having the delay at one will not work for drones when you use them a lot might want to include a disclaimer somewhere. Smile Having the delay on two makes the functionality consistent.

Still getting random dead zones when the radial menu will not pop up on the window also.

New build did not drop them into the group that i had dragged them over if I used the full group header. That is how the functionality should be in my opinion.

Return to drone bay will be used more then return and orbit and is very needed on the first level radial menu. best spot is the normal warp to tab as it is the only one not used on level one.

Return to drone bay is a must have on patch deploy or thats all you are going to hear about.Twisted

Karkur--can you fix one more thing while you're at it? The drone UI currently handles stacked drones differently from unstacked drones, and it drives me nuts.

You can see it pretty easily--grab a ship, drag a stack of five repackaged (i.e. not yet launched) drones into the drone bay, and undock. After adding them to a group, you can right-click on the group in the drone menu--but the right-click menu you get here is different from what you get if you right-click on a group of drones that aren't stacked in your drone bay. Specifically, the first option for "stacked" drones is "show info", whereas for unstacked groups it's "launch drones". It's not specifically a repackaging issue (five unstacked, but repackaged, drones will show "launch drones")--it's a drone stack issue.

I have actually lost some hectic fights due to using a newly-bought stack of drones and getting a "show info" popup when I thought I had launched them.

Some really good changes, i particularly like the drone assist group. Now if I could get my drones to my watch list and have them stay assigned I would be as happy as a pig in poo :)
