Looking for a domi fit suitable for serp anoms.

ok I am a complete noob when it comes to drone boats.

looking for a domi ( or navy domi ) fit suitable for running serpentis anoms in my spare time.

any suggestions?

You can replace the damage control with a drone damage mod, but for starters go with the damage control.

I you need more range, use two faction hardeners and replace the cap recharger with a sensor boosters and add a drone range mod in the unused high slot. You probably want to use garde so range should be fine as it is now.

been looking over the hac changes. would I be better off using a Ishtar as I have sentries 5

That fit is perfect for nullsec anoms if you have droneskills only, as the warp in at 100km is tailor made for the 122km garde optimal. Serpentis rats will not hit you or your sentries at the range.

You can live with t2 omnidirectionals as well.

The microjump helps evade PVP so it's not useless in there either. Also iit ECM drones. Align to the place you want to warp to, microjump breaks every other tackle than warp scrambler, warp off when you land to 100km.

The two ships are very close in price, but the ishtar lacks the tracking and range bonus, and can't use MJD. The ishtar does have superior resist, especially against serp, but you don't really need it so i would say the domi is better.

I'm not sure is the HAC rebalance, and the upcoming domi nerf, is going to change this. The domi is going to get the tracking bonus from 10 to 7.5%, but the ishtar is going to be a heavy drone ship from what i have read.

If you are unsure if you want to fly ishtar or domi, start with training battleship 4 and use the domi and finish of you drone skills, you will need the drone skills for both ships. You can later decide if you want to commit to training HAC or train battleship 5.

my drone skills aint the best but for now they will do till the new year.. I am how ever working on Combat Drone Operation to level 5 .
