Oh wow, check out the new Raven model! It looks just like...

I didn't think it looked the same.

Look closely at the video and it appears that the new one is simply more details with a few extra doodads.. The difference may not be much, but it's there. ;)

They also seemed to tore out the old missile tubes according to the texture on the checkboard picture the current raven has like 8 tubes on both sides of the fire control tower.

Also the bridge is gone. Two forward arrays sunk down a bit. Engine section streamlined, aft facing sensor boards installed, wings are portionally bigger Wings are symetrical and a few more ad-honem details.

Just flying raven at the moment.. merely upping the polygon count would be cause for an update, but in the old raven the right wing is almost three times(edit) as big as the left one. Totally lopsided. So these changes are definitely needed. If you dont believe me, go take a look at the old raven.

The new model is going to be huge improvement just because it will be symmetrical. I mean, look at THIS

In new model both sides will look like the right side.

Maybe they are altering all of them, adding something to support a future "feature" Blink

And while they are in the process of things, they give some of the old ones a facelift

In the video, the new Raven is not symmetric at all. It's just a more detailed version of the old Raven, with minor changes.

I'd really like to see symmetric wings in the final version.

You guys should do a short video devblog about it themed like a used car salesman trying to get rid of it. Would be hilarious and would allow you guys to highlight the dedicated/meticulous work the art department is doing!

P.S. best part about this is that the crappier the video the more cliche it becomes and less work you have to do making it =D

Pretty much this. I wouldn't expect to see any drastic changes to the Raven model.

You are crazy. The new Maller is great. My only complaint is it is not reflective enough so it tends to disappear in dark space areas.

The Raven I would be more or less fine if they just updated the poly count. A bit more symmetrical with the wings would be nice and I wouldn't mind the bridge getting a bit of an upgrade but overall I don't hate the old Raven as much as some other current ship designs.
