Basically I've been using an older 1680x1050 monitor and it's time for an upgrade. I've searched a bit and narrowed it to two that I think are ok, but still would like some suggestions on better ones. Primary focus is gaming. Thanks for the help

These are the two that seem ok to my naive mind. Also running a GTX 480 and will probably try to use the old monitor as a 2nd one.

What do you think?

Get this one instead: http://www.amazon.com/Dell-UltraSharp-U2412-24-Inch-LED-lit/dp/B005JN9310/ref=pd_cp_pc_0

A little bit pricier and if your eyes could orgasm, they would. Trust me! Blink

Is that what you're currently using? I looked at that one earlier but reviews said there was a lot of bleeding and not worth the exta isk compared to the one I liked earlier. What do you think? also, I stumbled on this earlier and I like it, but not the silver bottom What?

Naturally, there is the off chance that you get a unit that is not top notch but that the issue with electronics these days regardless of what brand you buy. Go with it and if you aren't happy with the display, return it and look for something else.

Being curious what the one star-reviewers had to say and while some of them make valid arguments that these issues can and may happen during manufacturing or during transit, I also find it hilarious that one of them star also reviews a titanium bracelet that remedied pain and whatnot, giving it five stars! I can't help but sincerely doubt whatever knowledge that particular individual has when it comes to displays when he or she gives a bracelet that is really nothing but psudeoscientific hocus pocus five stars.
