After ccp finishes the rebalancing and UI tweeks....what's next? In the past every expansion ccp has produced felt unfinished and frustrating to the majority of the player-base. Will CCP get its act together and produce a polished expansion or hit a brick wall like Dust 514. what are your thoughts?

It's almost like folks can not be bothered to look before they post what they think is an original idea.

If you don't know where you're going, any road will take you there.

Yes, but then they finally got the message after losing 10% of their customers as a result of the whole Incarna débâcle, so ever since they've put out expansions that consistently have been met with massive approval.

So your thread is about 2½ years too late…

Look mom, another irrelevant opinion by a random guy who has a bloated sense of self importance
which forces him to create a thread about something already talked about although nobody cares anyway ! :D

If I wanted to make you upset, I would have written it dèbäcle (or, hell, dèbäçlé, just to really twist the knife…).

Pfft! I suggest you demand said compensation from the publisher of your defective thesaurus.

Alternatively, ask it from your keyboard (and OS) manufacturer for not providing the combo keys to create the appropriate wigglies, because it's obvious that you're just suffering from wiggle-envy.

I disagree. They just shifted focus on polishing off what was already there over adding more unfinished content. With the release of dust 514 I held high hopes that this would be a game changer but we all saw how that turned out. If ccp ever gets around to adding more content I am not convinced it will be any different then past unfinished expansions.

…and that's fine, but you're not the majority of the player-base.

Back when Incarna was released, many did indeed think that it was unfinished and frustrating, which is why so many left. Before that, Apocrypha was ridiculously unfinished, even if it didn't feel like it to most people.

But the fact remains, ever since then, the number of players and the server activity has shot up like crazy, and people seem to be very happy with the new content provided in the form of new tools or just tools that suddenly actually work (making them functionally the same as being new).

If I'm not mistaken, OP is complaining about the lack of jesus features in the recent expansions.

Can't be bothered to find a link but some time ago (fanfest last year or the year before that) CCP said loudly and clearly that they won't be developing new jesus features while the game still has issues that need to be looked at.
This is something that a minority cries about while the majority of EVE players welcome it with open arms.

What EVE needs is more rebalancing, fixes, updates, changes to existing features etc. and that's what we're getting.

That and maybe some pants. do not want pants.

Hey! That's almost kind of nearly close to something that could be confused with something that's remotely related to be not being my fault!

You obviously goaded me into upsetting you. With wigglies.

That said, if you show dèbäçlé to the French, I'm certain they'll find it very offensive and immediately come to your aid.

You (op) show us how it's done. Detail an expansion you think we all want to see

"I don't know" is the sort of answer we are all expecting.

You probably wouldn't know an expansion if you woke up with your hands on it

Consider it revenge against the world for all those metal bands who think that sticking various umlauts onto the vowels in their names make them extra hard.

…which of course make the name Tröjan doubly funny, since it means “the sweater” (with connotations of being soft and comfy) around here — hardly the kind of image you want to convey when you're bellowing harsh words into a microphone. P

Which majority of the player-base are you speaking for?

I don't judge people by their race, religion, color, size, age, gender, or ethnicity. I judge them by their grammar, spelling, syntax, punctuation, clarity of expression, and logical consistency.
