Hey

You may have "tracking camera" checked.

Open your scanner, top left un-check the "tracking camera" option.

This feature allows you to click on somthing in space, an asteroid belt lets say, your camera centres on it, then you can check 5% D scan to see if there is anyone at the belt. Bit speedier than aligning what you want to scan 5% to the middle of your screen. That is how I use it anyway.

Check both the scanner and the right click menu of the slatted box item on your warp/orbit/approach box, both need to be unchecked or it plays up.

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

Why CCP even implemented that thing is beyond me...

Comes in handy when d-scanning and/or chasing someone, if you don't use it you should try, makes both these tasks stupid easy.

Afterthought, Or maybe the making it stupid easy part is what you were referring to?

It does make it stupid easy, kills the fun of my hunts and since there isn't a day with someone asking how to turn that off, I consider it's judgment error on CCP to have it on by default, because now it's there, I don't really see them scrapping it off.

I haven't pressed C accidentally and when i change ship or undock in a pod the camera is turned to follow for no reason.
Something is up...
