WALL OF TEXT Warning;

Hello every1 i'm really interested in wh space but i've got some questions that i need fired away:

First i'm not goin on a solo run, i'm actually goin with a firend of mine;

that behing cleared my next question is the class of wormhole i should join, c3? or c4?

note that allthought we dont master wh mechanics ( especially closing holes and notecing incoming ones) we got a great understanding of game mechanics in general;

For now we are interested in ISK farm but as we accomodate we want to pew pew.. wich of thoose 2 holes would fit the best to our needs? i've heard that c4's are really empty and might be a rather good solution, as i was indeed my first choice... but now i'm struggling if we could tank it..

wich leads me to another question:

ship wise we are interested in RR RS's... well i'm somewhat proactive and have tryed to set up some fits(3):

Over tanking RR?:

LOWS

4 DDA's
DCU
co-processor

MIDS:

3 invuls
1 EM hardner
1 therm hardner
2 omni tracking links

HIGH's:

3x meta 4 large shield transfers
3x meta 4 large energy transfers

RIGS:

1 shield extender t2
2 egret port maximizer

Cookie Cutter:

LOWS:

4 DDA
1 DCU
1 BCU

MIDS:

1 SeBo
1 target painter
1 EM hardner
2 invuls
2 omni tracking

HIGH:

4 cruise t2 launchers with furie's
1 meta 4 large energy transfer
1 meta 4 large shield transfer

rigs:

3x extenders t2

Hybrid:

LOWS:

3 dda
3 shield power relays

MIDS:

2 omni tracking
3 invuls
1em hardner
1 large t2 extender

HIGH:

4 cruisers t2 with furies
1 large energy transfer
1 large shield transfer

RIGS:

3x puger's t2

So any of this fits could work in duo work in a c4?
if so wich?
Any of the fits needs fixing?

If none would work on a c4 wich should be used ina c3?

thanks in advance and sorry for the long post o/

Ninja edit: we will start in rr domi's till we find confortable to commit to expensier ships :)

Judging from what you said you could always get the best of both worlds...

Find a c4, with a static c3

sites in a c4 - can be run with a couple of RR tengus or i'm sure you could make the RR BS work.

Anyways, best of luck.

wouldn't the connection into the c3 make my home to crowded from the c3 link with pvpers?

and what about the fits? any thoughts?

My quick suggestion would be to first try those battleship fits in a Class 2 and see how you do. Estimating that the DPS is roughly double that of the class below it -- not strictly true, but a reasonable rule-of-thumb when you haven't tried yet -- you can gauge how well you did.

I don't have the time or interest to try to translate your manually-typed-out fits into EFT or Pyfa to gauge actual DPS... if you posted them in EFT format, you'd get more feedback. That said, you can reasonably tank any Class 3 site if your tank on any individual ship can handle 700+ DPS for a minute or longer during heavy battleship waves in a Data site, and roughly double that in a Class 4.

sry i guess it was a faillure from my part, anyway the first fit has 700 DPS with bouncers t2, has a local tank of 157ehp/s + 3 incoming rr's;

second one would have 1012 DPS local tank of 167ehp/s and 1 incoming RR

the last fit has 911 DPS local tank of 648ehp/s + 1 incoming rr

i know this is an overkill for c2, therefor my question wich fit would work better what c3 or c4's :)

C3s are infinitely better than C4s in general. If you run a hole that has a C3 static you can easily solo the sites in any of those ships or you could fleet up and run them as a group.

C4s are the bastard child of WH space. They're just hard enough to warrant a fleet but not hard enough to warrant a decent payout. Once you finish getting the fleet set up you could have already completed a C3 site also the sleepers in C3s and C4s are the same class, meaning no higher chance to get those precious nanoribbons per ship. That being said there are more ships so more chances to get them.

I live in a C2/C4+HS right now and I can tell you sometimes I wish it was a C3 especially when no one else is on and I can't run the sites. So point in short C3 > C4

I know there isnt much love for c4... so basicly what i can see is to have a c4 with static c3... so besides that... i want to know how much local reps or must i tank to do this properly?
