newbie question on trade skills

Is there a difference between "buy/sell orders" (trade skill) and "active orders" (retail skill) ? Do the two trade skills simply raise the amount of orders you can have on the market?

There is no difference between the two.

They both increase the number of orders you can have, Retail by 8 per level, and trade by 4 per level
