I just had this idea and I really think this would be awesome (I wouldn't post it if it were otherwise, no?) if CCP did that.

CCP should split the like button in two.

One Logic Like Button for when that one post really makes sense.

And one Fun Like Button because, lets be honest, some posts are darn funny to read but if there was any logic or even sense in it you'd have to dig it out of it's grave just to shoot it again.

It's also good for forum visibility and makes the decision on what post You want to read just right now a lot easier.

You want to be all serious space ship business like. Go for the post with the most logic likes...
Feeling like srs biz is boring as crap right now, hunt for the thread with the most fun likes. It'll be awesome.

Most people would probably just ignore logic and fun and give both likes so You might not find what you were looking for, but hey, that might be fun all on itself. And finally (lol, I initially wrote funerally) ruining some fun thread with logic will be an enterprise with measureable results.

Dislike Buttons

That's not to say I will, want or should give up my pursuit of the logic and fun like buttons but DISLIKE buttons... Oh man. I really want that. Would be not only awesome but also sorely needed.

logically that would be fun, but nobody can prevent you from having fun with logic.
