Do you not want to own the creation process? Do you not want to say "it is your creation", "it is your content"? The use of the pronoun "your" indicates ownership. You either created it or you did not. What is it you want to claim? Make up your mind.

Also .. there is a HUGE difference between my creation and my content ... I can create content I dont own thereafter .. I cant own **** on CCP servers.

Saying "I created X" does not mean "I own X," just like saying "I own X" does not mean "I created X."

Now point to me where I claimed I, or any player, owned anything on the EVE Servers. Quote and Link. Otherwise quite trying to bait me into propping up your straw men.


While you're looking for that, find a chain of reasoning that denies that players can be said to have created content because they used the tools provided by CCP that cannot be used to deny that CCP can be said to have created EVE because they used tools provided by others. Because that's what you seem to have been trying to argue throughout this thread.

So how about presenting some reasoning to defend your claims about assigning responsibility for creation to tools (or the creators of said tools with some arbitrary limit on recursion) or to content owners for the simple reason that they own the thing created, instead of the people who performed the action that resulted in the thing being created*.


*Convoluted language caused by being unable to say "instead of the people who created the thing" because assigning that responsibility is the question at hand.

The important thing is that I never said I, or any other player, owned anything. You keep intentionally misrepresenting my points (I say intentionally because I've rephrased and clarified my points several times, and you've misrepresented them in the same way each time), and trying to bait me into accepting those misrepresentations.

Creating something does not imply owning it.

The EULA says nothing about agency for creation. The EULA says that CCP owns everything on the server, it's entirely mute on the subject of who creates content.
CCP has said that players create content.
