Faction Warfare without leaving player corp?

I have always wondered why players had to leave any corporation they are in when wanting to use Faction Warfare or force the rest of the corp your in to join, just so you can do it. To me this makes no sense seeing as all other pvp doesn't force you out of your corp (unless your corp kicks you).

So I would like to see this requirement gone and yes I know you could explain it away as lore or something. But to me this just gates off this type of game play for players who want to play or sample faction warfare without leaving their corp which is a major pain in the ass to leave and rejoin because of the cool down timers.

Other pvp does force you out of your corp, try war-deccing someone without your corp .....

Trade offs in EVE? Surely you jest.

Want to try Faction Warfare? Spin up a new char in one of your alt slots and enlist it in GalMil. Fit up a T1 shitfit frig, and go spin novice plexes all day on your first day, running from anyone that comes to kill you. Collect your 200mil or so worth of LP for the day. Faction Warfare sampling accomplished. For extra fun, you might try chasing some people out of plexes, so you know what it's like to be run away from all the time.

This would cause issues with the existing aggression and remote assistance mechanics and be unintuitive for new players eg: they're shooting that guy in my corp but I can't help him.

Alternatively you could run a scam where you get shot by someone in the opposing FWar faction and ask your newbie corp mate for help, he reps you and then your friend blaps him.

You're either in or you are out soldier! We don't want no limp-wristed, sissy, part timers who have "commitment issues!" We want REAL MEN who look at fire of glory and charge into it armed with marshmallows and BBQ! We want REAL WOMEN who can show everyone how strong HER pimp hand is and cow the throngs of pimpled faced nerds!!

So join militia and strap yourself into a frigate you piece of amphibian ****!! Let me see you WAR FACE!!!!

This already happens. Claiming kill rights, attacking -5 or lower players, etc. There's plenty of times I have to eat gate guns to help defend one of my corpmates because they're attacked for being KOS to everyone, and therefore corp aggression mechanics are superseded by their criminal status. These are lessons most people are going to have to learn sometime.

That being said, the hangup in the mechanic lies in the fact that FW works off the wardec system, and not the personal standings/sec status system. Allowing something like this would require a huge revamp of the wardec system.
