It all depends on what you are shooting. If you outnumber the enemy you are a "blob". If you are outnumbered by them you are "Elite PVP".

If you just lost all your sov and are fagging around your old space wistfully dreaming of yesteryear you are a Wulfpax.

It depends what you're fighting

if you're against 1 pilot it's a gank gang
If you're against 100 pilots it's a gang that's about to die
if you're against even numbers then it's just a gang

If it's formed to some kind of doctrine with specific roles, force multipliers, logi and redundancies then it's a fleet.
