Have Goons got access to a magical device that scans ship fits over a vast distance?

You'd be surprised, but that miner next to you in the skiff that seems to have gone AFK with a full hold is actually passive targeting and scanning you.

Goons may be bored, but we're not that bored. Roll

hehe, nice hiding in plain sight, I thought as much and pointed out in my followup post, I've done it myself for the NO guys using a Procurer. But seriously scanning Retrievers? Waste of a scout when you can scan them with blasters and get the desired result every time.

As someone else stated earlier in the thread, two catalysts can kill a retriever regardless of how it's fit. Why scan it?

lol.. in other words "Damn, I can't refute that point so I will just come up with an insult"

Classic :)

We're not actually blue with BL because we still like fighting them.

Your alliance, on the other hand, has been blue with PL for almost three years. The funny thing is that a lot of people in both NCdot/PL are still slow and don't get it, complaining about nobody engaging you with supers unless it's beyond doubt that you'd lose the fight.

For the benefit of those of us in the audience who are as slow as you claim that guy to be, could you come down off of Space Important Mountain and draw us a crude diagram?

Hehe.. I knew you couldn't resist :)

As for not fighting CFC.. why should people do that.

No other alliance has nearly as much isk or number of people willing to get up at 3am to play a computer game.

Also NC, PL. Nulli. Solar, CFC etc are all alike.

Nobody will drop supers unless they are damn sure they will win the fight and have lots of people on standby if somebody goes wrong.

That is why you guys were bashing structures with SB and not supers.

Nothing wrong with that, you would have to be a moron to drop supers without a ton of support.

I seem to recall plenty of CFC supercapitals grinding structures in Fountain.

You give me and my Siege Fleets too much credit!

Do what BoB used to do, tool up, pick a direction, roll in that direction destroying everything until you run out of money, return home, make more money, repeat.

I want to see huge chunks of completely unclaimed 0.0 because goods have just broken everything there... you know... like delve... only more.

Right now I believe we are about to roll Delve just because. Whee!

We've just finished with 3 bloc level campaigns (that I know of) in 0.0

Why stop with just three?

Well, the precedent is Alexander weeping because he had no more worlds to conquer. Same for Genghis Khan's successor Khans, more or less. If you build your empire through fighting, peace becomes boredom and stagnation. So, if following history, the next stage should be stagnation, then the outbreak of a vicious internal power struggle, and eventually a split into smaller rival factions. If not at war with each other, than at least despising each other as traitors. How about giving it a try, GSF/CFC? Could be fun. Blink

BTW, bummer that our high sec guerillas ops aren't providing sufficient entertainment yet. We're working on it, but the effects are still pretty much limited to local individual CFC members....

From what I have seen, the Ice Interdiction is keeping plenty of folks entertained during certain hours. The problem from my perspective is that it is just a temporary, niche thing. I suppose that one could define a war similarly, but, meh.

So I guess that means you're not going to incite an internal civil war or seize power via a coup d'état? Come on, stop thinking small. As a not very bright teenage girl once said: YOLO

Don't you go blaming me for EVE's terrible interface design!

You sure are ungrateful after all the time Theta Squad has spent trying to teach you how to gank people.

nobody teached me a thing, and if some tried, I just did the complete opposite... you might should do that as well someday to make this game exciting and not so much predictable

There are screenshots of dudes talking to you in JU-OWQ local, trying to teach you how to properly bomb.

If you would like to chest thump on the forums about how you're a lone wolf who don't need no teaching then I can ask them to stop.

i hope the whole thread 'me wants attention" can be closed now?

We are fighting undefended structures at the moment. I would love for INIT. and 4O1k to actually fight us instead of run away in terror at the sight of 30 harpies.

There are a few folks about who like to dock up in NPC stations if there are gangs, but if you are crafty then you ought to be able to catch a few! Or you can wait a couple of hours 'til I get home and start running fleets.

If I undocked the best I'd be likely to catch is a cold.

Why can't you run fleets at a reasonable time? My boss usually prefers if I sleep at home, not at work.

Give me a time zone and I will try to lead a fleet in it at least twice a week. :)
