The only way that you are ever going to make a freighter get into warp even remotely fast is have a friend web you on a gate. However, this is still far from a good idea if there are hostiles on the gate.

Do not use a freighter in places where you are likely to be shot at. They are giant, expensive, defenseless bricks. If you need to haul something into dangerous space or during wartime, look into blockade runners.

I understand that, just what I have in mind a blockade runner would be impractical. I won't be flying blindly, I am just concerned about minimizing that time inbetween jumping into the system and getting off the gate. everything else I am covered with . that one window of vulnerability though scares the hell out of me.

Remind me to run a locator agent once in awhile.

I've seen orca mentioned. Best hauling orca for Low Sec looks something like this :

*High cloak
*Med 100mn MWD
*Low 2x warp core stabs

Rigs - maybe ancil rig if you are havung trouble with PG and rest cargo extenders
Rest meds - Cap life

Use mwd+cloack trick - google it and practice a little in high sec untill you get the hang of it before gooing low.

As far a webbing goes, it's a bit of a tin in high-sec because a lot of systems won't be wide enough to allow the weapons timer to wear off, so the webber might have to hold jump thus slowing the process a little. With a second corpmate though, they can leapfrog in turns to let this timer wear off.

There are more than a few of us who would be more than happy to show you just how bad an idea this is. Jump Freighters or Blockaderunners would be the way to go here.
