Boston and New England Meetup! October 19th!

Hey all New England Eve players! Come meet others at Mead Hall in Kendall Sq Cambridge, MA.

Where: Mead Hall (4 Cambridge Center, Cambridge, MA)
When: Saturday, October 19th @ 3PM
What: Beer, laughs, food, beer

Directions:

Using the T: Red Line to Kendall Square
Using the car: Go to local electronics shop and buy a GPS, plug in address, follow that.

It's the same weekend as Eve Vegas, so if you can't make it to Vegas, come out with us and raise a beer or 4.

How long will it last?

Generally in the past, meetups have gone a few hours. People will trickle in and out. It's pretty informal.

What should I bring?

Bring yourself and a good attitude. Feel free to bring a laptop if you like, but generally not many have done that in the past. Also, there's no free wifi in the area (that I know about).

What if I'm under 21?

I believe it's fine as long as you do not advertise it and don't try and order a beer.

Can I share this on my corp/alliance/social media/etc?

Please do! The more the merrier!

Can I bring non-Eve people?

Sure, but they'll probably get bored.

What if I have other questions?

Do not hesitate to shoot me an Eve Mail or ask here! Somehow the space postal agency does work in wormhole space, so I do check my mail!

I will be there, but a bit late. I will be presenting at the Boston Code Camp (hopefully) that day.. and I am hoping I get to present early so I can I bail and make it for Beer O'Clock. But if I know my corpm8s, they will still be drinking whenever I get outta my event.

WOuld this still be going on as of 5 PM ish? I would love to come but I work weekends so wouldnt be able to come down until 5-520 at earliest. Dont wanna drive down there for nothing.

Although seeing twostep is always a good time. I will forward this on to TDSIN we have a very large New England contingent

Whoop Whoop .. sadly I can't get there.

I volunteer in town (Just south of Braintree) soccer all day on Saturday (and most evenings during the week and Sunday afternoons).

Double ugh, just spotted that I have Revolution tickets for that evening as well.

Perhaps next time (closer to PAX East?)
