Unhandled page fault when opening EVE client on a Mac

So I read there other forum post(s) regarding this topic which lead me down the path of looking into the locally saved Application Data for the game client.

I wasn't ok with just deleting the folder in ~/Library/Application Support/EVE Online because that meant all my settings for my 3 accounts would have to be re-configured, and honestly, I didn't want that.

I spent about an hour trying different things to get the error to go away, but what finally worked was the removal of a single file. core_public__.yaml

By removing the file at ~/Library/Application Support/EVE Online/p_drive/Local Settings/Application Data/CCP/EVE/c_program_files_ccp_eve_tranquility/settings/core_public__.yaml the issue was resolved and my character's settings we're preserved.

I'm posting this since the other post is locked, so this is more of an informational posting.
