Hi Hareeb! <3

Honestly, it's just the usual hurf blurf that happens when a warzone starts coming back to life. Amarr think the Minmatar are bad because they have Shadow, Suddenly, and Tempest Legion on batphone. Likewise, Minmatar think Amarr are mad over said batphone. In reality, neither side is really either.

Basically both sides should be fighting in plexes more, except I think everyone wants to fight in bigger ships, sadly then people start flying things they care about losing so it turns into the escalation game, FW is broken, fix plex restrictions, yadda yadda, bad smacktalk, old guard is bitter, new guard still thinks you can 'win' FW and fights matter, circle of life continues, zzzzz....

ITT everyone needs to learn to reappreciate the therapeutic value of exploding pixels.

Understand theres a difference between 'hey you want to kill some caps' and 'oh god we're getting space murdered, HALP'. We accept the first from anyone who has caps they wish to be dead and tell the second to go **** itself unless its one of our guys in which case we point and laugh.

"Hey, um. Guys. Guys? Hey, when did we join faction warfare? Why are you laughing? Oh... I'm getting trolled again arn't I? Just to make sure, I AM still allowed to shoot those minnie guys with wild abandon, right? Okay, just making sure."

Ya, we're def not allied with any FW militia in any way shape or form. Not sure how this rumor got started. We're just here to shoot things.

(On a side note, I take out roams monday night USTZ, and since noone is stupid enough to trust me with our capitals, your chances of getting hotdropped are basically nil... Come fight me... please... is anyone there?)

I understand the difference, and the first one is still considered batphoning because you're being called in and helping one side versus coming in and killing both. Also, i'm not sure why you guys think I was implying that SC was explicitly allied with any particular militia or group outside of themselves.

Little do you know, they are allied with someone in the miliita... It just happens to be a 2-man corp that nobody ever sees or cares about.

Been for 1.5 months in Amarr FW now, and from analyzing my killboard losses the first month and a lot of solo fights, of which most I won, I can only make the following statements.

Smile'n'wave pilots, after having had some initial great solo fights, me having won the most, (having lost only when I was ganked or sometimes due to dumb mistakes on my part), they avoid me now in solo encounters, unless in Huola/kourm, with their Command ship boosters, and even there, they try to gank and avoid me solo. This is depressing, because I did have great fights with them initially. As for fleet fights, I seen them roam with Iron Oxide a few times.

Iron Oxide. Actually these guys to me, appear to be putting up a good show. I can't speak for the others. There are solo fights to be handled out of plenty of them, and the few times I got ganked, I was ok with it, because sometimes fleets get bored after no real success in roams, and people just want to be on kills. We all do this. I left null, when people wanted to do hot drop 50 bombers on 1 caracal.

Winmatar. I got mixed feelings here. In one way, they put up a good show in their solo fights, but I must say, tons of ganking going on, which is ok I guess, but I am just a bit depressed here at times. They got great pilots, yet some of them instead of continueing the fight to the end, which would have been a close fight, still often rely on God knows what else sits on the gate to come in. The fleets so far against them, meh, nothing personal, but they do appear to show up when at least making 110% sure the fight can or actually, is already won, once the first shells/missiles fly. Then again, the point is to win, so I can't really blame them either.

The Lotus guys, have not had any major encounters yet, so I can't say. I did have some solo fights with them, was some fun stuff.

As for all other alliances, I really can't be judging any, I have just not been around for long there.

All in all, I can't really complain much around here.

What is concerning to me, is that I am now seeing UCF Alliance people here. I guess GENTS is hammering them so badly lately (UCF being within jump range of TVN, GENTS HQ) that they are moving in here. In The Forge, I kept seeing 60+ of them active at any given time. I am just not really looking forward for those 12+ BS round the clock smart bomb gate camps, even during low peak hours, which means, you can forget flying any T1 and some T2 frigs in your solo or small gang roams. The additonal 24/7 instalocks whatever else they field, adds to the problem. That is actually what concerns me the most right now, and I really hope, that each alliance, corp, whatever, does their fair share to kick those guys out of Bleak Lands, if they move in here for good.

Most of the time it just isnt worth the effort to kill the people who called us in, besides if we did do that we might not get their call again next time. Self interest is a wonderful thing Cool.

As for the whole allied thing we've had that accusation thrown at us many times by the slower members of the militias, usually when we break up bunker busts or dumpster one of their BS fleets, so its kind of an automatic reaction when we see that now.

so a bunch of fweddit people came down to galmil space yesterday. Showed up in like 10 Navy Augs and 7 Augs and wondered why no one fought them.

Forming a fleet to counter things that don't do well under neuting pressure or damps or tracking disruption is hard.

Ignoring people when they roll in a fleet comp that is 40% logi is even harder.

But it's okj to have a TD on every ship?

Where the **** does this stop? I mean in the end we'll all be going 'OHMAGERD YOU USED PROP MODS!' leading to 'WTF DUDE YOU UNDOCKED, UNDOCKING OP'

Fweddit live miles from gal/cal, reshipping is not an option. Would you roll to engage as much as possible or roll and get countered and be ok with dieing in a fire just so content was provided to the guys that can't be arsed to move 3 gates for a fight.

We had 6 augorors for a 30 man fleet; hardly 40% you claim we had.

The fleet comp was somewhere arround:

14-15x Navy Augoror
4-5x Maller
1x Vexor
1x Stabber Fleet
6x Augoror
4-5x various interceptors/tackle
1x boosting legion

TIL FW still hasn't figured out how to counter t1 logistics. Though, that's not suprising when you look at the tendency to dock up and declare something unfightable, rather than looking it as a puzzle to solve.

10 Navy Exequs with EC drones and 7 Exeqs with a few Celestis would have done pretty good.

Should've flown a comp that can catch stuff instead of fattyfleet.

There was nothing to catch. The warzone was dead when we peaked our head in. I think all we managed to do was gank some TEST dudes who were in a plex and **** up an incursion chat.

As always we showed that Amarr is the strongest militia by far. Everyone ran, docked up or got destroyed as this battle vs TEST shows.

Amarr victor, business as usual.

Nobody is so dense that they can be playing EVE longer than a few months and not know that engageability is a thing, especially for roams.

Then you should've done something to make people come out and fight you. If you can't make people fight you, and you can't catch people who don't want to fight you, then you're pretty much down to hoping someone engages you for fun. For that, you need to offer a fight they want. And if there was really no one around, you need to stop trying to fight people who aren't logged in or at their keyboards. Believe me, I've tried. It doesn't work.

I'm not complaining. It was pretty late, like 1 AM US EST. We only went to the gal/caldari warzone because the Amarr/Minmatar warzone was pretty dead after pretty big fight over a POCO in Kamela. Our leadership poked some of the galente fw dudes but most of them were asleep or not arround. Not really much you can do about that.

We went roamed for a bit hoping to find something, then went back home. Nothing else to add to it other than the dude posting up there bitter about us having half of our fleet as logistics (which it wasn't).
