Null sec is indeed not to stressfull unless you re roaming solo in a fast ship.

I think low is the best for small gangs.

Also don't pay attention to the guy warning you about null sec alliance being a sweatshop for slaves. It is far from being true.

Yeah, TEST alliance is free from the shackles of sov.

yea i have realized if you get a good corp and alliance, who are just in it for the fun and the rush of doing battle its not a sweatshop my Corp and alliance both fit that bill I really dont think I couldve asked for a better pair straight into the game like this, it is a true pleasure to fly with the people I fly with im looking foward to going back out tonight if I lose a punisher or two atleast ill be able to learn from it, where i messed up and apply that to future fights

If I can give an advice: don't hesitate to spend money in your ships. A faction frigate or a faction cruiser is often (was often maybe, before tiericide) worth the extra ISK.

If you fancy Frigate PvP 1vs1 and very small gang PvP Faction Warfare is the spot for you. There you can learn it proper and still finance yourself very well without to much grinding.

So....let's see...in 22 days you have managed to get into an NRDS anti-pirate alliance, and while most 3 week old chars are trying to grasp basic concepts, you are blasting away at assault frigs, slamming high sec.

Yeah, I believe you...Most discerning people would suggest this is someone lying about their background and trying t create yet another anti-high sec thread, but I believe you.

cant tell if sarcasm or not, at any rate yes that is the case, its not that I hate high sec, i find high sec useful its just I want to experience the other aspects of the game already, im in the process of finishing level 1 epic arc, and i do regular salvage missions, distro missions, etc, but i have been pushing and pushing to pvp, its why i came to this game, admittedly i saw the article on the CFC/ TEST battle and it sparked interest enough to play the 14 day trial, afterwards i subbed and will more then likely continue to sub, im not an expert on this game (i dont think ive ran into someone yet who fully grasps this game) but i have fun, and if that means i lose ships in the process while my hands start shaking and i have minor sweat and nervousness from doing 1v1 frigate fights in low sec then awesome! but i do know i will not be living permanatley in high sec, this game is way to big and fun to just focus on one aspect of it, which is really all i have learned in a nutshell in the last few weeks :)

Don't waste your time trying to justify yourself to morons and trolls. This early time learning the game in lowsec may end up being the most fun you have in eve. It was for me many years ago. Enjoy it. Good luck o7

Actually what you wanna do is stick with the cheap stuff at first. Learn the basics, learn to keep your cool under pressure and then you can think about moving up to faction ships. I've seen far too many noobs in dramiels and other random faction frigs that just die as soon as you look at them.

Anyway, it's always good to see new players getting into pvp. I've had the pleasure of introducing quite a few new players to PVP and the ones that go "seriously, thank you for the rush" always make me feel the best. It can also be a somewhat strange experience having someone you've just killed in a very one-sided battle thank you but it's better than the death threats.

Tip: solo pvp gets you the best rush. Fleets can be fun (depending on company) but there's rarely a good rush.

I strongly, strongly disagree. The noob destroying dramiels are often empire carebears with a lot of money, so they buy a dramiel and be like "Yeah I do it once in a while, buy expendable ship and yahoo in low sec". Of course, they die, because they did not really intend to keep this ship anyway. They were not serious about it.

It is good when you buy a ship that means a lot of money to you. Say your wallet is 60m and you buy a 30m ship. Then you need to be super careful not to lose it, not engage like an idiot, know when to pull away. If you mess it up, then you have a hard learnt lesson.

The best PVP I had was with a navy omen. I couldn't fly a zealot just yet and I went roaming with friends in null with it. It was worth 60% of my wallet and I was extra careful not to lose it. It did teach me a lot more than ****** frigate, because to be honest, when I lost a cheap frigate, I often blame the ship, not mysefl.

I actually just learned that hard lesson earlier, I effed up and got careless during a salvage op witha corp member, instead of waiting at the activation gate like i normally do i went in with him, and left without my noctis and 90m isk poorer, but it taught me not to get complacent (and was a harsh reminder) that youre not safe anywhere in New Eden, i walked away from that poor in my wallet but learned from that mistake

How many kills / losses did you have in that navy omen ?

Frigate combat is still harder than cruiser combat due to the increased speeds, there's no way around it, wether you blame the ship or not is a problem of your personal attitude, which you mentioned yourself.
And it's still cheaper. Also there are things like navy frigates and stuff you know, there's no need to jump right into a faction cruiser.
At no point you'll learn more than in a t1 frigate. Thats just romantic nonsense no offense.
As i already said. Faction Warfare is top notch for this because you can chose in 90% of the cases wether you want to commit to a fight or you dont.
