Screen reports "Frequenzy out of range" and goes black on startup - help needed asap, ty :)

I need to reset the client without going into the game - problem is my screen reports "frequenzy out of range" and goes black on the strain - where do i change it without actually going into the game?

i know the procedure is relatively simple, i just dont know how to do it lol

Assuming you are using a Windows based Computer, there are 2 keyboard shortcuts you can try:

Ctrl + Alt + Return will reset the graphics settings to default, if you managed to set something your monitor doesn't like.

Alt + Return will switch the client into windowed mode, which in turn will have Windows switch back to the desktop resolution.

Both of these should at least let you see the client again and allow you to set the client resolution to something your monitor can handle.

Alternatively, you can also start the client using "Safe Mode" through the according shortcut in the start menu, which will have the client ignore all local settings and start it up with default setting as well.
