lol, i love the low sec pvpers who claim to be pirates

all day gate camping, killing everything that comes through (200 frigs and the occasional hauler)

yet no ransoms, honourable or not

and also no "eject from ship" "eject cargo"

nope, simple kill this, kill that.... thats not piracy, that is PVP

Lowsec piracy is in a bad way at the moment unless you pick one of a small number of systems where it is effective. Doing this might involve dislodging an entity that are already there.

Jump freighters in particular, and ore compression to a lesser extent, drastically reduce the amount of vulnerable slow ships travelling through lowsec. Exploration changes in Odyssey partially improved this, but they don't encourage people to fly expensive ships in lowsec. Highsec piracy is better as there is just much more prey.

I understand controlling smartbombs to allow a pod to survive the ship's destruction is not really possible however I am confused by why Rancer would be mentioned as the place to ask.

Rancer is a safe and secure system, those of us in the united are dedicated to offering a safe environment for all high value cargos to travel in ease and comfort quickly between trade hubs.

We also honor ransoms, not that we offer any because we obviously don't believe in attacking people

Oh and yeah the whole honor thing with ransoms is not so much about being honorable it is just good business, most of the big pirate alliances will instruct pilots who fail to honor ransoms to repay isk or face removal from the corp.

Scammers are currently selling killrights on this toon for up to 5mil, if you have paid for this service demand your money back at once.

Let's put it this way, if I was ransomed by The Bastards or anyone in Shadow Cartel for that matter I would pay it - because I know they will honour it. Anyone else, I'd probably not pay.

"Honour" = Good business = Profit.
