If the economies were linked alot more eve players would care....I know it was marketed as a "first ever PC-PS3" game but I was pretty surprised that DUST was not a PC title, nor was it made available to any other consoles like Xbox360 or Wii. By making it playstation or nothing they really narrowed their potential market.

As a formerly avid DUST supporter here's a few things that I think need to happen - yes a lot of them aren't specifically about the EVE-DUST link but in another sense they are, since DUST needs to still exist to be linked into EVE:

1) Fully review the DUST skill tree
a) You currently have many skills that do absolutely nothing except act as an SP sink - this is bad design. Why not build the SP sink into skills that actually function or give the sink skills an actual impact on gameplay?

b) As currently designed having more skills/better gear = I win.
This has been covered multiple times before but when a vet in a Proto suit literally has over 4x HP of a newb and does at least 2x more damage that is a broken system. The problem will only widen as DUST's playerbase continues to dwindle - this will basically ensure that the few new players that try the game out will instantly quit due to massive imbalance.

2) Deliver on the large backlog of promised features
This would include but is not limited to:
-Dynamic map generation
-Command Dropsuit and the promised RTS-style gameplay for the commander (deploying turrets etc)
-Balanced vehicles that actually perform as intended (I'm looking at you glass dropships - try and do an evac into/out of combat in one of those like we saw in multiple trailers).
-Ability to blap EVE ships in orbit
-Ability for EVE players to produce DUST gear
-Actual FPS mechanics

3) Provide a more compelling reason for DUST mercs to care
Cool they're in this persistent EVE universe that they know mostly nothing about, they also have few indications of what exactly they do (hint: currently it's just about nothing).

4) Allow EVE pilots to pay DUST mercs in some form, even if this is direct item trade since the DUST-EVE isk market seems to be the main concern.
