The skill is called margin trading ...

it'll all make sense once you start filling those orders , no worries.

collateral is in NPC 0.0, accessible stations. i don't have time to travel those jumps before time expires and i can't sell in another region. i'll overcollateralize. if that's a word..

If you can provide 2b in collateral and wait 2 hours until I get home, I can provide you the loan.

By OP's own words a few weeks ago '' he didn't find the time nor will yet to grind the isk'' .Or as we like to call it a defaulted loan ....

So i have sold off the collateral last weekend , well i sold off the empire part for wich the profit was enough to cover the ''cost'' of the totall loan so i'll get to the nullpart when i pass venal one day Blink .

I guess that's why most PLEX-Loans do not ever get taken. If someone let the game slide that hard that he sees his account expiring another month probably won't do much. But at least it was collateralized so yeah.

What in cases like this i don't understand is that with a minimum effort the guy could have made a lot more out of it.As said the empire stuff wich was all together in one spot made me enough isk to cover the entire loan plus interest again.Being lazy and poor kinda will result for an eternal life of being poor Blink.

He did not intend to "scam" in the first place.

It's just that people who let their accounts rot in a way that they cannot PLEX anymore do not have enough in the game that holds them and therefore they just likely lose interest in continuing to play and therefore default the loan.

I know , but it's more like if you don't have much you should try and get as much out of your isk as you can.The OP could have had 50 % more then he has now wich allready was everything he had.

Can hardly be a scam if fully collateralised though.

Fun fact i now have more defaults from collateralised loans then from non-collateralised ones. Shocked

not being able/wanting to pay for a 120%+ collateralized loan is hardly a scam. i defaulted after getting a confirmation from flakeys that he would end up making a profit off me. thanks again mate and sorry for my innactivity.

Lending someone ISK on a fully collateralized loan and having them default isn't "being scammed". It's "being given a Christmas present".
