I just remembered you can't accept contracts on trial accounts, so youre gonna have a tough time working with them (if they accept trial accounts that is)

if you decide to go down the salvaging path your best bet would be to find your own clients that are willing to fleet up with you or trade you the bms directly.

There is nothing much to learn about station trading. You place buy orders 0.01 isk above others sell them .01 isk below others, you modify orders every 5 mins because you get undercut or overbid constantly. Its regional trading that requires knowledge, which again would not be possible on trial accounts.

Limits of trial accounts would not allow contracts or hauling with industrials.

My plan was to do inter hub hauling, which is the most profitable of the different trades afask, but with highest risk.

Because of the limit of not being able to use industrials, I'd have to trade valuables that didn't take up much space.

Again, my plan was never to do station trading. I wouldn't need three alts for that.

That could work but you do realize there are several limitations?

1- You can't log in different trial accounts at the same time, so you would have to write down prices and compare.

2- Getting things from your hauler to your trader would be a pain in the ass, you'd have to jetison it, log out, log in the other account, pick it up. (because you can't use contracts and you can't log both in at the same time to direct trade).

If you are interested in inter hub trading, trial accounts isn't the way to go imo.

You can use multiple accounts if you use multiple computers. Or you can use shells I guess.

Why do you think I picked exactly three trial alts? Because I have three computers..

I've currently laid this plan to rest and started planning to skill an alt on my account to do trading, so I'll see how it goes.

just a thought, you said you could make 70m a character, from the sister missions and stuff, so with 3 characters you have 210m? Why don't you just make 5 more charcters do those missions and you have the 560m for the plex?

It is a good overview for a new trader.

Yeah, could do that. Could use shells to use two accounts on two of the computers, run through the missions, and give the ISK through trade goods via player trade and PLEX one account, then start inter hubbing between five accounts, using the full account for the most complex and money making routes.

That would be awesome. I'm starting to regret already paying for a full account.

btw, the non-industrial ships with a big cargo (for their class) as far as i know are: magnate, exequror, gnosis

i would not recommend hauling high value items without a cloak (cant do that on trials), but if you have to you should look at an unsuspicious ship that aligns fast and can withstand a few smartbombs.

good luck with your trades!

It sadly ended with me making four buddy accounts, paying 60$ paying for three months on two of them, using plex reward to activate the other two, and getting 60 days of time on my main.

So I currently have two accounts with 111 days playing time, two with 51 days playing time, and my main one with now added 60 days playing time.

Still going to do the missions and start trade hubbing, and then we'll see how it goes.

Feels a bit like cheating though. Would've been cool to try it with five trial accounts. I'm certain it could've worked out.

Would be Akin to WoW's ironman challenge (leveling to 90 with only grey quality items, and not dieing once)

First to 1 billion isk, no donations only trading (can be circumvented very easily though so some honesty would help)

have a 3rd party verify the winner

Entry fee 250m from your main, winner takes all.

only loophole is obviously jetcan trading/looting but if it is items not acquired by a buy order it should be trace-able! using API Data.

count me out of that one P 5k starting isk Ugh

Oops someone accidentally bought my item for 10x what it's worth... I swear it wasn't an alt! :P

My thought was first training Cybernetics I, add +3 implants to charisma, willpower and memory, and then train Frigate III, Destroyer III, Cruiser I, Targeting I, Industry I, Small Hybrid Turret I, Hull Upgrades I, Afterburners I, Rapid Fire I, Controlled Brust I, Sharpshooter I and Motion Prediction I. After this I remap to Willpower 10 and Charisma 4 and train Trade IV, Retail IV, and Broker Relations IV. Then I remap to Charisma 10 and Memory 4 and train Social IV, Accounting IV, and Margin Trading IV. With my calculations this should take about five days.

After training social IV, I'll begin to do Career Missions for the six career agents giving standings to my race, and afterwards I'll do the Sisters of Eve Arc for higher standings. I can fit ships with help from my full account. I have three computers and can play all trials simultaneously, making mission running fairly less boring with multi-tasking.

Just have them join a fleet with your main and run missions with 1 account doing L4's instead of running L2's with the accounts and losing days of training on mission running skills that could be used for trade related skills. Also buying the cheap data center tags to hand in will have a very noticeable increase to standings.

Although it seems like far too much work to get a few extra trade slots and abusing the trial/buddy system (which goes against some rule of using throw away accounts).

You are doing this very, very wrong.

It is possible to earn enough for a PLEX on a trial. However, the amount of work doing it your way is monumental. Here is a possible plan for more return and less work:

1. Salvage and loot theft. This is likely your best ISK return on the lowest amount of SP invested. Most missioners will not risk an agression countdown and possible violence to their shiny mission boat even if you're yellow and blinky. Stick to looting only battleship wrecks and you should get 25M in about an hour. There are legitimate mission loot & salvage services out there as well, but doubt they'd take on a trial alt.

2. Running complexes. By this I mean crappy highsec complexes. You only need one or two overseers to drop faction loot a day to make your quota.

3. Corp theft or other scamming.

4. And currently, cleaning up goon ganks. You can also try salvaging t2 wrecks at the jita undock.

Neither crappy missioning (you don't have standings or SP for the good stuff) or trade with only a few million will get you there unless you play eve as a second job. And even then, probably not.
