It appears in a recent patch in the last month or 2 that the functionality of alliance members accessing a component assembly array or corporate hangar array in a POS has been removed.

Although you can set the access to those modules to alliance View and Take, no longer will it allow alliance members to deposit items into said modules.

Prior to this recent change it was possible to open a component assembly array or corporate hangar while being in the same alliance, but not actually see the contents, regardless of the access settings. While it would show you the empty hangar and spawn the error message:

You have been denied access for the following reason: This office does not belong to your corporation.

You could however still drop in items into the hangar which the person in the corp could then utilize. This is no longer the case.

I hope this is a bug because it removes a very useful workaround for POS management teams in alliances and removing it is short-sighted given that you can set alliance access to any POS mod, that should allow any alliance member the ability to view and take from that module if the access is set that way.
